I have seen both FC and Whiteland live, both shows are completely amazing. I do not think it will be a bow out by any means but after seeing how much they improved between Franklin Community and Loveland. They can pull it off no doubt.
Predictions
Mixed 1
GC- Whiteland (BV)
1RU- Franklin Central (BC) (BB)
2RU- Edgewood
3RU- North Central
4RU- Dekalb
5RU- Castle
6RU- Kokomo
7RU- Lawrence Central
Whiteland has made HUGE steps in the past few years with vocals and chero they right now probably have the best vocals in the mid-west. Whiteland is doing awesome and IS the next up and coming show choir. They have some of the best directors in the country with Michael Conley and Stephen Brant they are going to change this program. Would not be shocked if Whiteland pulled this one out of the bag. FC has had a great season but with the things Whiteland has to offer that could change very quickly especially with Whiteland and FC facing off at almost every comp they both go to. Goodluck to all that go to this comp its gong to be a fight!
It's ironic how two accounts were made with similar usernames, associated with the same choir, and no showchoir.com comments prior to those predicting this competition's results. I would never suggest that the Grand Championship is not up for anyone's taking, and Whiteland is CERTAINLY a contender for the title. If you would like to enter the show choir community to browse showchoir.com and contribute to the banter in these comments, I'm in full support. However, it is clear that you are not associated with the listed choir in Iowa and that your only motive was to post these "upset" predictions. Make a legitimate account, join the community, and share your views!! Best of luck to Whiteland this season and everything stated is true! Michael Conley (a former FC choral staff member) is working wonders for their program and the Rhythm Masters show is phenomenal. Let's just eliminate the smoke and mirrors
I haven't seen Whiteland, but I saw Franklin Central at Pike. FC's vocals and choreo are almost flawless. Anyone who knocks off Franklin Central this season will have to have an absolutely amazing show.
Whiteland competed against FC at Franklin community and even though they came in 3rd they were in 2nd going into finals an i was told they were only 4 points away from FC going into finals.
As an FC Singers member, the four point spread is not accurate. Although Whiteland truly does have an amazing show and I'm looking forward to watching them improve and competing against them again!
Four Tier 1 choirs have GC's this season.
Franklin Central (twice), Edgewood, Whiteland, and Castle, plus North Central is always in the mix for a GC. Good competition!
