Will there be a livestream for this? I’ll be doing a research paper and I need an excuse to take breaks from it

Honestly I'm so excited for this comp. Opelika is my favorite, and sadly tomorrow is my last one as a performer. Tomorrow is for memories.

Having watched both weeks at Tallassee and now Albertville, not sure how ESSC doesn’t win GC. Should have won in Albertville. Absolutely amazing show.

I personally saw 10 points (out of 200) difference between Hwood and ESSC yesterday, six of which came from vocals. Hwood is vocally in a class of their own in this region, and that’s why their only loss last year was to Clinton and why they will continue that type of success this year.

Not sure how? There are 2 groups in this lineup that have beaten them once this year, and JA who also swept another competition. I am not saying it can’t happen! It will be a new day with a new set of judges. Anyone can win and thats the beauty of show choir. I just think it’s a little far stretched to say “Not sure how ESSC doesn’t win GC”. Either way it will be interesting to see how the results turn out. Not trying to be rude...just wanted to throw some stats out there to show how interesting this comp could get.

Opinions vary. Homewood is strong vocally, no arguments. However, it not all about the vocals. This is why ESSC won choreography and over design.

As soon as I heard them announce Homewood Legacy as the winner in the ladies division, I KNEW where it was all headed.

Are you saying it was rigged for Homewood? That’s a pretty bold accusation.

I don’t play around with strawmen arguments. Do not accuse me of saying something I clearly didn’t and then attack it.

What I DID say is that when I heard them announce the HW ladies as the winners, I knew where the night was headed.. Do not ever put words in my mouth.

Well when you say that you “knew where it was going” purely by HW winning the Women’s Division, it sounds like that’s what you were saying.

But it’s not, is it?

It did, however, give me an idea of the type of judging to expect. HW Legacy was at best, second, probably third. The new Florence group were better. Then a toss-up between HW and Tift.
