One of the rare competitions where Los Al, Burbank and Burroughs compete. Difficult to predict, especially with this being Burbank's first competition of the year.
1st: Los Alamitos (Musicianship)
2nd: Burroughs (Showmanship)
3rd: Burbank
I think in the past few years Los Alamitos has really come ahead of the curve. They were always good, but their vocals, choreography, and their sets have been some of the best. Their 2016 performance was one of the best I've ever seen. They might also take Musicianship. The little bits of Burroughs I've seen reminds me of their 2013 set, which was Powerhouse at its best. And Burbank is always great. It'll be close.
Full schedule is posted. In typical Cali fashion, choir times weren't given - just loose starting times for a few of the divisions. Intermediate women are scheduled for 9:00am and awards are slated for 11:30pm. A host performance by Sound Vibes is apparently TBD based on how things run. This is going to be a long day of show choir.
This competition is also notably the only time Los Alamitos, Burbank, and John Burroughs will all be competing head to head this year.
