This competition will definitely be an interesting one! In the groups I've already had the pleasure of seeing live, I can say that there is going to be so much talent at this competition! I think people will be surprised by the amount of skill coming from places such as Jenks and Sioux City East, and pretty much everywhere else! This is definitely a good year for show choir and I'm eager to see what happens
Honestly I could see Take II coming from behind to pull into finals. I haven't seen their show yet this year, but last year I was impressed, they managed to put a lot of spunk into their performance, something I haven't seen happen that often. If they can power through with choreo and vocals I think they have a chance to snag a spot. I would love to see it happen.

Good luck to everyone! This looks like a very stacked competition (as always!). I could easily see Excel or Infinity fighting for a spot in here too. I'm interested to see how it all turns out!
I would be very surprised to not see Sioux City East in finals, if not top three or four. They were VERY impressive last year when I saw them at Waukee and have the potential to do very well here: Last year they beat some pretty big names (such as Onalaska, Mitchell, Millard West, Valley, just to name a few). This will be a great competition!
Completely agree with this. Saw Sioux City East at Westwood last year and I was blown away. The overall effect they had was special. That band is crazy good!

COE has always been a tough competition, but DANG. This is stacked competition! We have a pretty even mix of Nebraska's best and some amazing out of state groups. Not to mention a fairly large single-gender division! Heck yeah! It'll be interesting to see how everyone stacks up! Can't wait to see everyone's shows and meet new people at my last ever COE! Hopefully the stress and anxiety doesn't kill me before it arrives! LOL!
