Congrats Glenwood! All around solid finals performance - well deserved.

I have to give a shout out to Naperville North. Those kids can SING, and they gave the highest energy show of the night for me.

Everyone brought it tonight, and that auditorium really is quite a venue.

Final results posted.

edit: Apparently Buffalo Grove was ineligible for Best Band, so it went to Glenwood instead resulting in a complete sweep.

He was actually in a performance with Danville's show choir last year.

Wonderful. Such a Pro. Such a Human. Keeping the Arts alive in Danville and what a memory for those on stage with him and for the community at large.

Prelim award information has been added via Carmen. In addition to Mt. Zion not making finals, apparently Buffalo Grove earned Best Band over Naperville North. What a night of upsets. Though, to be clear, BG is known for having an outstanding band so no disrespect intended there.

Delegation was excellent with a Thomas Edison inspired theme. Awards and Results coming soon.

P.S. You owe it to yourself to see a Competition at Danville. The historical Dick Van Dyke Auditorium is a can't miss trip in itself. And yes, DVD is a Danville H.S. Graduate-- Class of 1944.
