I was able to see most of the open class groups this afternoon and here are my new predictions based off of prelims.
GC: St. Francis (BV)
1RU: Craig (BC, BB)
2RU: Prairie
3RU: Skutt Catholic
4RU: Neenah
5RU: Wheeling
Great performances by everybody! I can't stay for finals but I'm anxious to see the results later! Also I loved Prairie's theme! One of the coolest shows I've seen in a long time! Good luck to everybody tonight!
Top 2: Craig and Prairie.
Prairie's show is awesome, I love it. Clue is a genius theme. The songs are put together well. It's very well executed. Craig is very traditional show choir. They are good at it but its the same standard formula that has been done a million and a half times and honestly it is kind of boring (my opinion). Going off technical scores, I think Craigs got it. If we are going off of entertainment value it'd be Prairie easily.
3rd: St. Francis (that ballad was beautiful and if they got BV on that alone I wouldn't be suprised)
4th: Mundeline
5th: Neenah
6th: Skutt
Wild Card: (the only group I didn't see) Sauk
Very excited for the fort showcase this weekend! It's always a smooth, well run competition and there will be lots of great groups there! Here's my best guess at predictions:

That was tough to do and I'm sure I will be wrong. I could really see the top two, or even the top 3 going a couple different ways, and it will definitely be a battle for the caption awards. I also would not be surprised if Sauk, Mayville or Mundelein's women's group made finals. Best of luck to all groups! Can't wait to see some great shows!
