Don't count FDC out of the GC, they were EXTREMELY good at Vermillion last weekend and they are amazing as always. Also, don't count Jefferson "Connection" out of finals as they have a very good show as well. Good luck to everyone here.
GC: Mitchell "Friend De Coup" (BC, BB)
1RU: Hastings "Riverside Company" (BV)
2RU: Craig "Spotlighters"
3RU: Bemijdi "Vocalmotive"
4RU: Lincoln East "Express"
5RU: Broken Arrow "Tiger Rhythm"
Between Mitchell and Hastings this contest could go either way, but I have to say I think this one will go to Friend De Coup. Their choreo is some of the most creative I've ever seen and their vocals are good enough to even match those of Hastings. However, Hastings is ALWAYS incredible and I am definitely not counting them or any other group out of this one. It will definitely be a battle!
We had a schedule submitted to us, but the schedule didn't include divisions. The schedule is posted above in mixed and prep (AA and A) divisions which is what Totino says they do, but if we missed anything let us know.
I asked Mr. Voss who was attending this and here is all I remember: (sorry I don't remember more, but it was like 1 AM at Walmart after UNL!)
Broken Arrow
Lincoln East
Bemidji
Yeah, pathetic how much I remember hahaha....But there were some other fun ones from far away that I was really excited to hear about.
I expect there will be a decent-sized cheer section coming from Waconia, as it's our first day of spring break. It's always a fun one to watch - and the food is always great, as well.
