Me: "Magic Conch... will I ever be able to be fortunate enough to attend a competition as stacked as this one even though I'm stuck in Connecticut attending college?"

Magic Conch: "maybe someday."

Why wasn't the schedule posted on schowchoir.com????????

It was...

Thank you to the showchoir.com staff for VOLUNTEERING their time to make this site the incredible resource and community it is. I appreciate all that you guys do! I can't wait to see how this competition plays out, I am very very very envious of all who get to see it live!

Okay, Chicagoland people, we need your suggestions!

Where can a bunch of show choir nerds meet, eat, chat, hang out, and have fun?

Requirements:
-YUMMY food
-Stays open decently late (11 would be great!)
-Stays open late AND people under 21 can still stay

Whoever gives the best suggestion gets a free dessert from yours truly at the WWSCC. (If it's real good, I'll buy you lunch!)

The best suggestion will be our meet-up spot for Friday night. There are already 7 confirmed guests, and we are all super friendly, so please plan on meeting up with us, if you can!

If you head east on Butterfield Road (IL56) (The main drag that runs in front of WWS - turn left when you exit), in less than 2 miles you hit a large shopping area. There is a Mcdonald's there! There are quite a few restaurants. There is a Chili's which meets all your requirements. My 2nd recommendation would be Cozymel's. There are several fast food type restaurants, as well as some very nice sit down restaurants.

A little mixup of a prediction

GC: Wabounsie (BV)
1ru: Twinsburg (BC)
2ru: Wheaton North
3ru: Carmel
4ru: Mitchell
5ru: Solon

Wabounsie and Carmel faced off last week with neither winning choreo and Wabounsie winning vocals. From what I've seen Wheaton has been killing it this year and could sneak up on Carmel. I believe Carmel hasn't been what they have been and that could hurt them here. Solon has won some this year and I could see them being higher on this list maybe beating Wheaton depending on what the judges are liking that day. I've heard Mitchell has been consistently good. Twinsburg took choreo from Wabounsie last year and have amped up there vocals. Definitely an underdog this year but I could see them taking out anyone.
