Bold prediction...Mitchell hasn't missed out on finals at any competition in the past 10 years!
I agree the prediction is bold but Prospect has a fantastic show due to their vocals, All of the groups In the head of this competition are the toughest in the country. The Ambassadors have great leadership and Waubonsie always brings the A-game. Flight has won a couple of competitions and so have Solon Music in Motion. Twinsburg has a very creative show this year and they are very tought to tey and beat out of finals. That is why I chose the groups in finals in my prediction. Mitchell is a great school but this may be the toughest comp this year besides nationals.
I am pretty certain that this is my first ever prediction, so please take this with an even smaller of a grain of salt than the others....
After seeing Mitchell at Westside COE this year, I was absolutely blown away, and it was only their first competition this season. While I am not going to venture into betting against Waubonsie, I think that Friend De Coup will do very well at this stacked competition. So here goes!
GC: Waubonsie Valley Sound Check (BC, BV)
1RU: Mitchell Friend De Coup (BB)
2RU: Wheaton North Flight
3RU: Carmel Ambassadors
4RU: Mt Zion Swingsations
5RU: Solon Music in Motion
There are going to be a lot of people coming from around the country to attend the Classic. It would be fun to do an SCC meetup like last year! I had so much fun meeting so many new people.
Would anyone else be interested in doing a Friday Night Shindig?????
I believe it had something to do with their prop/set piece, access to the arena at Fairfield and storage of said item. It will be interesting to see how Wheaton addresses this? Best of luck to all competing in Wheaton!
Anyone remember when a Mississpi show choir got kicked out for delaying the show ?
Not sure of the reasoning behind the switch, but Carmel will now be competing at the Choral Classic! We are very excited for the 2017 lineup, it's sure to be a great day of show choir!
