Which was bs. Not making a final doesn't disqualify a persons season. Especially bc they did sweep at WC beating counterpoints. So let's not harp on a contest that def should have gone diff. Historically issma state has had it wrong on many levels. Period. People have a right to critique without the dismissal of their thoughts or dismissal of a groups abilities.

No dismissing of anything. I know Warren Central is good this year and ISSMA is screwed up. We all know this. That being, there is no point in complaining about results as that will not get you anywhere.

Wow. Someone's bitter. Show choir is such a subjective thing; don't take everything to heart. It's common for judges to make weird decisions. To continue, at Franklin Community's showcase, Lawrence Central did not make finals. Although they most definitely did improve through their season, it seems that their placement here was fair.

It's more than just Lawrence Central, the whole system is broken

Wow! This whole thing is sooo suspect. I'm sick to my stomach by some of the placement of choirs that I PERSONALLY KNOW don't deserve the spot they were given! Two of the big ones for me are Lawrence Central and Ben Davis. This is not right! This can not continue and if it does fewer choirs will compete in this event! CHANGE MUST COME!

CONGRATS TO FC

Event is updated.

It's worth noting this is the first ISSMA berth for Anderson and Noblesville in, well I don't know how long, but a while. Best of luck to them! We'll see if North Central can go for a three-peat, but they'll face stiff competition per usual.

Congratulations to all groups! Especially Franklin Central for the long deserved grand champs!!! I feel that ISSMA has some interesting placements every year, I personally would've liked to see FC ladies and both Ben Davis groups place higher. Not that the other groups weren't phenomenal! Although, maybe that's why some groups like Center Grove, Zionsville, and Carmel chose not to attend? It seems within the past three or four years more great groups are beginning to stop attending and it's just a shame to see them go. But nonetheless, congratulations to every group on their state titles!

I can attest to this being the reason that Center Grove does not attend. Also interesting that the day after State, North Central, FC, CG, and Carmel are in Butler Sing.

I usually try to avoid posts that specifically favor one choir over another, but I am EXTREMELY surprised by Lawrence Central's placement. I think there was a large cloud of confusion when their name was called for 6th place. I easily would have had them in Top 3. They had one of my favorite shows of the night.

But as always, congratulations to all of the groups for putting on fantastic shows.

I'm shocked that multiple people both here and on Twitter have placed LC mixed so low considering they have a win over NC this season and scored a Best Visual caption even in 5th place. I wouldn't be surprised if they placed in the Top 3.

Somebody said it. I didn't want to be THAT alumnus lol.

Predictions:
GC: FC (come on state judges)
1rNC/LC
2r: NC/LC
3r: Brownsvurg
4r Castle
5r: Noblesville
6r: Ben Davis
7r: Pike
8r: Anderson

This season has seen its share of interesting placements. I think FC has the strongest show of any group st state & most in the country. However, we know Indiana state seems to have some weird final results.
