My personal rankings:
Center Grove( BV)
Burbank(BC)
Loveland(BB)
Glenwood
Decatur
West Jones
I felt that Center Grove's tone was better than Burbank.

Center Grove: LOVED your show. Favorite of this year! Vocally sounded just like the cast of Hamilton. I think what might have happened in your rankings was the difficulty in your choreography. While very clean, it is not as difficult as many of the other groups there.

Burbank: Your show this year is much better than last year and that's saying something! Your theme was a little confusing at first but I really enjoyed your show! Choreo was great!

Loveland: Everyone is right. Your band is crazy good. They bring so much energy to your show and that is something that your show seems to be built upon. The dancing was very fun and seemed very difficult so props to you. Vocally, I disagree w what others are saying and say that you guys sound better this year than in past years. But I do think vocals are what cost you the points behind Glenwood.

Glenwood: I love your choreo. Straight up. Everything is so hip hop and you guys do it well. Aside from your ballad, I felt your vocals were not as impressive in their nature as some of the other groups. But your ballad is amazing!

Decatur: I can't get your opener out of my head! I love the beat and the energy your group has! It radiates from the stage to the audience! Your dancing is also so good, in the musical and technical aspects! The only thing that seemed to be lacking, particularly from girls, was facials. There weren't a lot of interesting faces coming from girls, but the energy was still there!

West Jones: such a fun show! You guys had such a lot of energy, it was so fun to watch!

Here are my thought on every group! This competition has been the craziest comp in a long time, besides wheaton last year.

I was there Saturday. Based on the performances , I would have judged them closely to Storm.
Placements:

Center Grove (BV)
Burbank
Decatur
Glenwood
Loveland (BB)
Imagination

Best Choreo between Decatur, and Glenwood.

Center Grove- WOW, what an awesome show ! Left me speechless, great show, great concept. Vocals were impeccable, defiantly the crowd favorite. Although I wish there was a little bit tougher Choreo on Hamilton, it would've had even more of an effect. Overall VERY Pleased. Loved how the show kept on getting my attention at every second.

Burbank- Loved the show! It was very visual and great style ! Although, it took me a little bit to figure it out, but overall, great choreo. Finals performance was FANTASTIC. Loved it.

Decatur- I've seen a couple of your shows in the past and wow, you have really stepped it up this year! I was in awe of the show as a whole. My Favorite show of the season by far. Great song choices, and a great meaning. And GREAT SOLOIST, and Dancers. Although it was a great show, Vocals come first. Which they were really good compared to other years. Also not everybody was fully into the show, and I think thats what got yo, the judges are all about meaning. Great Perfromance. Last comment, The guy who sings the opening of the ballad.....wow....He's going places. I believe he got best soloist as well? If I were judging, I'd given him Best performer as well. Amazing job. Decatur you really impressed me kuddos to you.

Glenwood- Choreo is INSANE as usual. Yall have really came up these past few years! I love the hip hop. Different than most shows. Great Saturday performance. And the BALLAD WOW. Amazing. Great job, very impressed. Although, I feel like I've seen the show before ? Not saying its bad, it was good, but it got a little repetitive.OVERALL, not saying its a bad show, its a great show, and I loved watching it. Great Job Glenwood! Congrats on an AMAZING season. Very fun to watch (:

Loveland- Your Band is insane. That award was well deserved. The choreo was very good as well. I love the show , its very Entertaining, one of the best Ohio Choirs in my opinion. You put on one heck of a show Saturday! Loved it! Although, the vocals lacked a little bit compared to previous years, but great show, loved it!

Immagination- Kuddos to making finals, you guys did great ! Sucks to perform that early but you really lit up the stage! I enjoyed it, I wish more people could have saw it. Great Job (:

I wonder how the individual judges ranked choreo and vocals separately too, we have the overall results, but I wonder for example if any judges had Center Grove in first for vocals (In my opinion I think they should've gotten it!) or just choreo scores (For example a few judges having Glenwood overall ahead of Loveland but maybe one or two have Loveland ahead in just choreo?) What I would give to listen to those tapes!

What did you think of West Jones Imagination's performance? Did you get a chance to see it? Just wondering because so many didn't get to see them perform either day. Wondered if you might have and what you thought?

I was able to see them in finals on saturday! They had a very fun show and you could tell everyone was having fun doing it, pure joy from everyone on stage the whole time I'm a big fan of Mississippi style choirs, they often seem to be more similar to the Ohio choirs that I'm used to seeing than some of the Indiana groups that are closer to us! The unique riser addition was a great way to change things up, and seemed to fit well with the styles of songs that Imagination picked. The girls' dresses were stunning too, definitely my favorite costumes all day, and once again fit right in with the song choices. They really earned that spot on the finals stage and in my opinion weren't incredibly far from the groups near them, and everyone involved should be so proud of the work they did to get there. A smoothly flowing show that proudly represents Mississippi in a finals where at least 1 of the top 3 groups from Illinois, California, Ohio, and Indiana is an acheivement that all of you should celebrate, glad I got to see you!

My personal rankings were identical to Chris Spaulding, I think good choreo from Loveland was enough to overcome the vocal deficit to Glenwood, although both left me SHOOK.

Enjoyed the Nationals. West Jones Imagination was terrific. The soloist was outstanding. Beautiful voice. The entire group performed amazingly. Too bad they had first performance of the day on both days. I know a lot of groups missed seeing Imagination perform as they all performed after and were either warming up or still at the hotel resting. If you missed it you missed a terrific show. Congratulations West Jones Imagination.

Apparently Burbank was in first after prelims and they switched the performance order accordingly.
Burbank performs last at 11:30 and Center Grove goes on at 11.

There is a .2 difference between the scores for CG and Burbank. They announced the results incorrectly live and corrected them via website.
