I'm sorry but this is completely incorrect Homewood will not even touch Clinton no offense. Attaché is in there own league all together and will easily sweep Homewood...

You can win by 24 points without sweeping. That's about the margin that Homewood won Jackson Prep's competition last year, and it's also the margin that Clinton won by when they faced Homewood in 2012. This year's Homewood group has tremendously improved vocals, with choreography that is about as clean as it was in 2012. Clinton won't let up a single point in choreography, overall effect, or accompaniment, but I think they might leave a couple of points in vocals. It's definitely possible if Homewood delivers their best performance.

"2nd best in the South" really belongs to the host group, depending on how good Petal is. Homewood has a chance at taking Best Vocals from Clinton in a few weeks, and if they actually do, there might be an upset brewing. That, of course, depends on how much room Clinton allows for them to take Best Vocals and how close they can keep the other captions.

This will be the Southern Competition of the year! The Best of Mississippi and the Best of Alabama battling it out to see who's the 2nd best in the South behind Clinton. This is a very hard competition to make predictions on.

Homewood comes in clutch again with another crazy good line-up. Only a handful of large Southern choirs missing from this list; perhaps they'll be attending West Jones this day instead.

Since this is such a large Southern event, I figured I'd throw in an SCC plug... while we have directors posted for most choirs, we don't have many choreographers listed. It's hard to keep up from year-to-year and not much from the South has been submitted this year. If anyone's able to either share some info or post it in the Show Choir Info 2017 topic that would be very cool.

Oh man. I'm definitely going to attend. Looking forward to this wild one that's extremely hard to predict!
It's pretty much the top ten groups in the South fighting to finish 2nd to Clinton. Very few head to heads to guess how it might shape up.
