Yay st Francis. Way to snag the vocals over hastings! Your ballad is soooo good! Me Warren (hastings) must be so proud of little Warren(st. Francis) and what he's been able to do with the st. Francis show choir program in the short time since he started it. Whoop!

Can you make the video public? It is currently private.

Our director requested that it be made private until our school board gives confirmation on the legality of it. It should be up again by the end of the season but right now they're just trying to be careful with all the copyright stuff. Sorry...

Does anyone have score breakdowns? I would love to see how close the top few groups were!

Thank you to everyone from Ankeny Centennial for such a great start to the year! Yesterday was definitely one of my favorite comps I've been to. A very well run competition and seeing groups like Hastings and Johnston live is such an incredible experience. Johnston is in for an INCREDIBLE year. Definitely a must watch group as a spectator!
Best Female Soloist was Sierra Lancaster and Best Male Performer was Parker Christensen, both from Millard North. I am unsure of the names of the best male soloist from Johnston and the best female performer from Xavier, but both were very incredible and deserve their recognition. If you know their names, please post them! They were both fantastic.
Congrats to all groups who competed yesterday, and good luck the rest of the year! 2017 is going to be a great one

I must give a shout out to St. Francis for their absolutely lovely performance last night. Not only were the vocals absolutely breathtaking, but it was just my favorite show to watch all night just because of how invested everybody was into their performing-- I couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire thing because of how much fun y'all looked like you were having and how truly genuine the whole thing was. Thank you for making my night Can't wait to see you guys again!!

Hope y'all are having a good time there! Linn-Mar's The Sun/cult concept is really intriguing. Johnston had one of my favorite ballads last year with I Look To You/Remember Me, looking forward to hopefully catching a view of them sometime this year and apparently St. Francis' ballad too haha. Enjoy the finals round, folks!

There will most likely be a video uploaded within the next few days (the past two years there's been a parent that's recorded all the groups in finals).

ALSO, 6 of 7 judges have Johnston in first place.
