Pretty surprising to see that one judge had Clinton out of first by 27 points, and every other judge had them sweeping, possibly with comfort. Guess that's how show choir goes.

Thanks for the scores! Wow! And an amazing judging panel (as the usual with Los Alamitos)!

Even though they weren't used for final placements... The final point totals were:

Clinton 1078
John Burroughs 996.5
Mt. Zion 996
Twinsburg 958
Bonita Vista 887

Can anyone write a few paragraphs about the shows?
When I get a chance this weekend, I promise to get around to it. Overall, one of the most competitive divisions I think I've ever seen on the West Coast. Truly remarkable division with a lot of talented people!

No because the only people that were there were the choirs and like 300 parents. No one else could get in or watch online. I really hope that whoever hosts a big competition like this in the future will think about fans and viewers and hold it in a much larger venue.

Weren't Faydean and Sam the best SOLOISTS of the Tier 1 Advanced Mixed?
I believe you are correct, now that I've had a chance to think about it. He announced the individual best performers from each choir and then best soloists.

As the student co-president of the Los Al choir program, I just want to first apologize on behalf of the whole program for not being able to livestream.

The initial plan according to the head of Xtravaganza was that there were to be no livestream this year, however, I was told differently from other people in charge and that is why I setup the livestream. It was a lot of hard work especially since I did not have access to a video team and also I was mceeing the event, and doing all sorts of other work. Obviously the quality of the livestream was lacking but the goal was to make the best of it, however, on Friday night I was told to shut the livestream down due to complaints/internet issues/lack of preparation/lack of communication.

We will notify and confirm a livestream with a professional team next year and if you want to see clips from your group we will be happy to take requests and post them on the twitter page at this link
Los Al Show Choir Twitter Page

Again so sorry

Thank you for your effort, regardless of the outcome! You rock for trying!!!

Clinton just finished their set. This venue just absorbs all vocals. Choreography was very clean and their strongest asset. They started slow and built up to a busy closer. All well done.

Running about 20 minutes behind. Clinton is setting up. What I have seen so far, Twinsberg and Mt. Zion put on very good performances. Powerhouse didn't seem to have energy. It might still be the result of their trip to Chicago, having tests, and kids being sick and unable to perform. Its too bad. This looks like it's going to be a Clinton win.
