1RU: Davenport Central
2RU: CR Kennedy
3RU: Norwalk
4RU: SF O'Gorman
5RU: Southeast Polk

I gave SE Polk the benefit of the doubt because I've heard some good things about them this year but I would not be surprised if Centennial's prep took their spot or even O'Gorman's spot in finals. Should be a fun day! Good luck to everyone competing!

Unfortunate to see Papio South drop out but you always have to trust directors instinct when it comes to that kind of situation. Centennial should take this one without too much struggle. I'm still getting over how great their show was at Johnston. I've actually already made a promise to myself I'd make sure to see them again this year. Davenport Central had a respectable sweep over some good competition this past week and did place above Kennedy at the BIg Dance in both prelims and finals, even if that gap was only .5 points for prelims. I'd love to see one of Centennial's prep groups make it into finals and with what I've heard they are performing like they deserve to. Good luck to all those performing!

I'm excited for the possibility that Eternal Rush or another outstanding prep group could very well make finals here!

why did papio south drop out??

Our director decided he wanted to shake the show up a bit, and change a few things
No crazy drama or anything, simply a director choice. I would love to go considering I've never actually watched any of these choirs live (except for Centennial), but things are what they are.

Edit: Never watched any live except Centennial and CR Kennedy.

My apologies. The website has the 2016 schedule, and a beautiful fully functional layout, so I thought that the directors tab was also updated. I was incorrect and didn't double check. The judges posted earlier ere from the 2015 panel. My bad

Unfortunately I do not know the exact divisions. I would assume the first three groups are in the Women's division, but then I don't know if there are separate 9th and Prep divisions for the groups up until lunch. Forest City is probably in 3A by itself and then the rest are 4A. Those are just guesses though like I said so if anyone knows exact divisions feel free to post them. Also, the day one schedule can be found on the website.

I know all 3 Cedar Rapids kennedy groups are going (chanteurs, Protege and happiness inc.)
