Now let me explain. There are two groups here. The bottom three is really a toss up. Honestly. All three of those groups are on the same level, so the bottom three really could go anyway. Now you look at the top three, and it's almost the exact same. All groups should be in mid-season form by now, so this will be truly exciting to watch. I have posted a Johnston sweep not because I think Johnston will dominate the competition, but because Johsnton's singing is impeccable (as is ATSC's), but I think in each category, Johnston will just barely edge ATSC. ATSC's choregraphy is always tremendously clean, but in the past it hasn't been much outside of a few flashy moves here and there, but for the most part it is very simple (although I believe I heard somewhere a tale that they hired a new choreographer this yeaf? Confirm?). I could also see Millard West stealing BB because they have traditionally had a very good band. I'm not sure I see Millard West jumping either Johnston or ATSC, but the judging panel could definitely have ATSC and Johnston switched, as well as any captions for either of them. This will be extremely entertaining to watch.
I remember calling it "Nebraska Nationals" last year. Of course, even last year it didn't have Blackout competing, but this year it's also missing Resonance and Titanium, who I would typically put in the top 10 of Nebraska show choirs. Still, very quality groups coming this year. This will shape up to be a fun and anxiety-ridden competition... GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
Hoping "Flight" does really well here hoping they get to make a finals performance. top two in my opinion will be Westside and johnston! Can't wait to see all the groups duke it out
