Extended results in the mixed division:
4RU Waltham Music Unlimited
5RU Bishop Hendricken Paramount
6RU Somerset Berkeley Electrify
7RU Windsor Locks Vocal Motion
8RU Joseph Case ShowCase

Also a slight correction, Andover From Start to Finish actually received a gold medal. It was incorrectly announced on stage.

Thanks, so this one has been updated. I have a suggestion: perhaps Northeast events should put less thought into captions and more thought into competition structure.

All joking aside, that's a lot of captions. I feel like it's reasonable I could've made a mistake, just let me know if so!

Solid line up! I feel like it's going to be close this year, OA, DH, or SH could all take GC! Good luck to everyone! Wish I was there!

Hello!! I noticed that this schedule is a bit off. Lunch is from 12-1, and electrify actually starts at 1, not 12:30. Everything then goes as planned at half hour intervals. The issue seems to correct itself on the schedule after Andover From Start To Finish, but Electrify should start at 1. Thank you

I'll never say I've seen it all, because sometimes things get a little weird.

And granted, events here can be weirdly arranged a lot

Yeah, I get what you're saying Jared. I think a key difference is finals - in the Midwest and Southern circuits single-gender groups generally compete on their own as well as different divisions for small mixed, large mixed, advanced, prep, etc. (the list goes on) which allows for a potentially more fair comparison of similar choir types during the daytime divisional round and ultimately the highest scoring groups move on to the finals round which often times includes the single-gender or smaller choirs and creates interesting results as you mentioned.

I put together a boatload of events and I see a lot of different types of schedules/competition formats. I'll never say I've seen it all, because sometimes things get a little weird.

I wont be making any for this competition because I feel like they're bad luck, but I might as well ask because they're fun nonetheless!

Any PREDICTIONS?

I know open division comps on this scale are very odd to every other circuit in the country, and while the can sometimes be a pain, I find them interesting because groups that would typically never compete against each other (small mixed vs. large mixed, Single-Gender vs. mixed, middle school vs. high school) are given the opportunity to compete and the outcomes are sometimes surprising. Given the exceptionally diverse schedule this year, I think this is shaping up to be a really fun comp and a great way to kick off the season!

Yes correct Jeff it's all one open division

Thanks, Sam. I added the schedule as it appears. I'm guessing it's all one open division as Lowell's festival has been in previous years? I know that's the culture for some of the Northeast events, but it's just odd with advanced mixed, single-gender, and middle school groups all in the same division.
