I am totally geeked for this weekend because I get to see a bunch of show choirs live for the first time ever, which is saying something - I've been around show choir nearly 20 years! I'm crazy pumped to see Urbandale, as well, because they had one of my favorite shows last year. They ROCKED IT OUT at Totino.

Just tonight at Studio's rehearsal I reminded them that Waconia kids came to Totino last year and supported us and luckily you guys perform early enough in the day that you should expect a crowd of Urbandale kids in the auditorium to cheer on Power Company and return the favor.
They were super happy to hear that kids from Waconia came over to watch and cheer them on last year. Good luck on Saturday! Can't wait to see your show. Come find the Studio home room and say hi. We're always happy to make new show choir friends.

Why so many down votes on all these predictions? None of them are out of line or rude. Give it a rest and don't take every prediction that doesnt have your group as high as you want as a personal attack, it really takes the fun out of predictions. They are solely for fun, they don't mean anything— if you don't agree, you don't have to up vote.
Or better yet, if you don't agree, go out there and prove them wrong.
Just don't go down vote crazy.
In my opinion the upvote/downvote system has done more to squash participation in discussions on these forums since overly sensitive directors. You can't say anything bad about anybody on here, but you can anonymously click a thumb pointing down without fear of any retribution or repercussions.
So why make a prediction or constructive comment if it's just going to lead to a big red negative number on your post? Better to just lurk and read than to risk it.

Papillion-LaVista and Millard North have ramped up their programs this year and I'm super excited to see how they do, they will definitely both be competitors. Urbandale took second at Waukee tonight against difficult competition so I'm confident they will be near or at the top of the ranks at Singsation. Elkhorn South has always been strong competition.

I think Grand Island has a chance at finals! Indeed, I've only been able to see them just this past weekend, and I haven't heard much about the others yet. But, I still got to give them hope. They're placed pretty early in the day, but I know they will come out and give it all they got! They are well prepared this year...

Hey Nebraska, you better DESTROY those 2009 Singsation competition shirts. Someone might think you're advertising for a gospel show (or our next president?) when you wear it in Chicago.
Just heard that Singsation is continuing on as normal for their 10th anniversary competition in 2016, but may be doing some renovating for their 2017, possibly with the name but with the competition as a whole.
