Here are daytime results not including Alan B. Shepard points wise because they were not on the sheet I saw. I did see however they placed 12th on the overall day placings list. This was by far the best competition I have ever been to and probably will be for a very long time. Congrats once again to all those who competed!
My school was 1,000 kids with 100 in show choir my senior year. My junior year was the Los Al bloodbath against Burroughs, Burbank, and Wheaton, so I know what that's like.
IF he did compete against Burroughs, Burbank and Wheaton at Los Al, then he is either from Homewood or Twinsburg, if memory serves...
Haha you can figure out where I'm from, but I'm not going to confirm or deny it because I'm not supposed to. AHSTW is the "anonymous" association, even though it's pretty easy to tell where I'm from.
Exactly. But that isn't my point. My point is this (whether for you or a director who dictates your disassociation from the school):
This site is about bringing people together. This site is about the community of show choir. No matter what has happened in the past, and no matter what one person might do in the future, it does not reflect poorly on your group. At least not as poorly as you might think. This site will never be the strongest it can be unless people do not hide behind the "anonymous association." Please, for the love of this community, admit where you are from and be associated.
Again, I stress that this is meant for ANYONE who might not be allowed to associate themselves with their choirs.
Funny. Here's this little excerpt from the AHSTW Community School district website:
"AHSTW Secondary serves students in grades 7 through 12. We offer a large variety of courses including college level and AP courses to approximately 260 students."
And their choir page doesn't like their choir as having EVER competed at Los Al!
