Literally my favorite show I've ever seen Waubonsie Valley do. That ballad was... Just incredible...
And the acapella small group after was phenomenal :D

Carmel is not your old school Indiana show choir anymore, and I LOVE it.

Did they stream the competition, or do you have to buy the DVD?

Faydean Kielty is the powerhouse singer. She sang the closer.

That young lady is amazing. When I heard her at Burbank in 2014 I thought she was maybe the best female soloist I had ever heard. Today she was even better on Stairway.

Edit: I guess I've mistaken Ms. Kielty for a different Burroughs soloist. They were both extremely good so I hope she doesn't mind the comparison.

I truly can't with that NN ballad.

Both finals groups have stepped it up from prelim performances so far - so proud of these Illinois show choirs representing so hard!

When directors and judges use the comment that a number is very musical, or a group sings very musically, just listen to Naperville's ballad to know what they mean. Truly breathtaking. Congrats!

Naperville North did win bb
Spreadsheet snafu. Wws director just came into our warmup and told us.

I was wanting to say something! No offense to any other bands today, because there has been tons of great playing - but NN'S is in a different league entirely.

And kudos to Wheaton North just now - the joy of making finals in this insane line up came FLYING off the stage! Lots of fun to see that.
