Just out of curiosity, does WWS not have an auditorium to host the competition in? It just doesn't seem like a gym is the best place for such a high-profile competition.
Most competitions in this area are held in gyms not auditoriums

Did we still want to possibly have an SCC meet-up on Friday night like we had mentioned a while ago or no? I know me and Kyler would probably be in if plans are made for it, but obviously it's up to everyone, not just us

You may want to bring some sort of seating pad for the long day

Real question though, how big is the gym? Like seating wise is it like a typical gym competition? Or bigger than most?

Large three basketball court gym. Stage area consuming one of the courts, folding chairs in middle court (~15 rows), bleachers in 3rd court.

Turned sideways from typical Gymnatorium, so the seating area is quite wide.

It's a bit smaller, with one side of bleachers out and about 10 rows of chairs in front of the stage

Okay. Finally prediction time...

GC: Carmel (vocals)
1RU: Waubonsie Valley
2RU: Hastings
3RU: John Burroughs (visuals)
4RU: Wheaton North
5RU: Buffalo Grove

Carmel has won in several very tough lineups so far. So has Waubonsie Valley. The great mystery here is John Burroughs (how will they stack up with the rest of these groups). I am pumped for the live feed! It will be a great one to watch :D

this is such a weird question for a show choir competition, but do we know what time doors open at? my friends and i wanna get there as early as possible.

From experience, the parking lot will get full once the mixed groups start. The earlier the better. The first girls group is on at 8:30 so doors probably open 8ish or maybe a little after.

Figure I might as well throw my hat in the ring:

GC: Buroughs (BC)
1RU: Wabonsie Valley (BV)
2RU: Hastings (BB)
3RU: Buffalo Grove
4RU: Carmel
5RU: Wheaton

Any of the captions could be moved, along with pretty much any of the placements because everyone is going to be so freaking good!

Leaving any one of about 7 or 8 groups out of finals from this bunch just feels wrong and weird.

It's going to be SUCH an amazing show - I cannot wait!

Saturday marks the end of competition season for us though, so it will be bittersweet for sure!
