It's posted up above.

So, how does a middle school skip jr high division to tier II??

Crete's middle school division is strictly 6th-8th grade and Rhythm Express is made up of 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

Thank you so much for the information!!

Either your memory is amazing or the website is actually serving a purpose. Either way, that's really cool. I'm rooting for them on the sheer basis that it's an incredible feat!
Both! Also, I did reference it on page 1 of this discussion thread... so it was on my mind.

Does anyone know of a case where that has previously happened?
Fairfield "Rhythm Express" five years ago.

They made finals during the 2010-2011 season at Central Crossing's competition. Otherwise I'm not sure; it seems most of the time middle schools groups aren't eligible for finals unless they compete in a different division like Rhythm did here.

I genuinely adore Fairfield and can't wait to see what they have in store for us this season, but I do think both Wheaton North and Mt. Zion are absolutely top notch as well. Wheaton North might not be as well known - yet - but they did take BV from Glenwood twice last year. Certainly noteworthy. Ultimately, this is an excellent early competition with outstanding choirs - folks in attendance are lucky.

Any word on daytime results?

Wheaton North will take this.

2nd is a toss-up between Mt. Zion and Fairfield.

If they are eligible.

I don't know the structure of Crete, but the past three years a women's choir has made finals. So unless Tier II is strictly festival, then I would assume those choirs are eligible.

Fairfield Middle School just might make finals.

If they are eligible.
