Typical Brea. It's their 2010 show. Again.

Edit: minus the fox song. Well at least the second half of the show was different!

I don't know if anyone else was wondering about WiFi, but they said they won't be giving it out because, logically, they need it to put out the livestream and for judging.
Everyone's been killin their shows today! Good luck to everyone performing and have a blast!

I hope everyone enjoys the early shows! I'll have to join in later... for some reason I decided to run a 5K today.

Have they done this every year or was this the first year times were given out per a lottery?

I think the times could effect the outcome depending on how judges decide to hold or award points...It looks to me that groups like ATSC and ALA are at a disadvantage based on their time slot. But at the same time if the earlier schools truly give a magnificent performance then holding points will be harder. In any case based on previous results and my personal thoughts here are my predictions

I know that ejudicator, the scoring system that FAME uses for all of its events, is on an iPad and allows the judges to adjust any groups scores from any part of the day so I don't think performance times will be as big of an issue as it is at other competitions

I believe they've always done a lottery drawing. And I think they do that for the reason you listed above. If FAME chose what slot everyone got then they could be accused of playing favorites or something like that. I think doing a lottery is the fairest and safest way to do time slots.

GC: Los Alamitos (BC,BV)
1RU: Loveland (BB)
2RU: Marysville
3RU: ATSC
4RU: CR Prairie
5RU: Oak Grove
