Neither Manchester groups had the funds to return for nationals so they will not be attending.

My friend was able to talk to a member of Auburn's group and she stated that Auburn will not be attending nationals

The impression I was given is that they are open for people to come in and watch but I'm not positive. Sad to hear some of you won't be staying for the entire day. But hey, not too many people can say they performed at show choir national finals AND rocked their prom on the same day

I've attended the sound checks in the past. They are included in the ticket for Single-Gender finals.

I know the Friday is reserved for sound checks for both the Single-Gender/mixed groups and then the Single-Gender competition but I was wondering if people from the competing choirs are able to see the groups soundchecks on Friday. The only reason I ask is because Fort's prom is the day of the mixed competition so many of us will be leaving immediately after our performance but I still really want to see everyone perform.

It looks like both of Los Al's groups are planning on attending according to their website here

Brea Olinda's site also shows strong signs that they will be attending

My sources tell me that Ankeny Centennial "Spectrum" tried to make it work, but sadly will not be attending.

Not going because of money or because the school board has their heads ....... in the clouds?

I'm a little late to the party and I actually had a friend tell me about this the other night when it was posted, really hard to hear. Will probably be my favorite show for many years to come. Congrats on a great season guys!

That's really disheartening to hear. I was looking forward to seeing them live again...

Has anyone from the first FAME Orlando been able to commit completely to heading to Nationals? Watching the live feed of FAME Chicago today Chad said all groups that were asked after Clinton announced they weren't able to attend had said they were going but I didn't know if that was true. In particular I've seen talk of Spectrum on both the "will be attending" and "will not be attending" sides of the table. Which really scares me because I'm sure I speak for all when I say I'd love to see them on that stage in three weeks..

From a tweet, 70 of 72 performers/band/crew from Westside will be in attendance at Nationals, so yes, ATSC will compete as they previously had planned.

At this point the Prairie Ambassadors are moving forward with attending National Finals.

We still technically require a school board review/approval at a meeting on the 15th, but we are not anticipating any issues what so ever with that meeting.

Marysville WILL be in attendance. However, funding is still a need. We will be able to go to Chicago, however every student is needing to pay a lot of extra $. To help reduce this cost, we've set up a Go Fund Me page. Any donation is appreciated!

Perhaps you could answer that for Prairie?
I'm not sure if you saw my post in the FAME Orlando topic but our situation is still the same, there's a good chance we'll be going but nothing has been finalized yet. There's a good response from basically all families/members and our administration has already approved the trip if we decide to attend. I'll be sure to let everyone know when all plans are a go.
