I think EEE will win as long as the rules from Show Stoppers do not apply. Good luck I hear Fame is more relaxed Show Stoppers and they must have different judgeing rules. Go EEE
I don't think it's a good idea to assume South Jones, Homewood, and Piqua will be in the bottom three. Based on what I've seen this year South Jones and Homewood could just as easily be in the top two as any of the other groups if they have really good performances (I haven't seen Piqua). But then again, they could also not make finals if they have bad performances (particularly Homewood). I don't think that Greece Athena's show will be as favorable to the score sheet at FAME as it was at Showstoppers. Also, with regards to the Best Choreography caption, both South Jones and Homewood are definately in the running. Homewood's show has just about the most choreography I've seen in one show (maybe a little too over-choreographed in parts), and Jonathan McKenzie's choreography for South Jones is very sharp and will be a different style than most of the other groups (the one thing that their choreography lacks is variety). Vocals will probably go to Eisenhower, Greece, or Troy, but I'm going to have to lean toward Eisenhower. So basically, I really don't think that any placings or captions are set at the point, and it will all just depend on each group's individual performance. But just for fun here are some predictions:
GC: Eisenhower (best vocals, best overall effect, best male performer)
1st RU: South Jones (best choreography, best diction)
2nd RU: Homewood (best show design, best female performer)
3rd RU: Troy
4th RU: Greece Athena
5th RU: Piqua
Best Vocals
Best Choreography
Best Diction
FAME Award
Best Male Performer
Best Female Performer
Best Male Soloist
Best Female Soloist
Best Combo
Best Crew
I really think that Eisenhower will take the choreography and band caption. But as for BEST VOCALS... I think that is a big toss up between Greece Athena, EEE, South Jones, and Troy.
I think Zach Gray from Eisenhower will receive the Best Male Performer Award.
EXACTLY -- and thank you for giving TROY the credit they deserve --- though I disagree --- I dont think EEE will take it all. I think TROY will take vocals, and I think they will certainly "duke it out" with EEE and Greece Athena for the top three spots...SOUTH JONES, HOMEWOOD, and PIQUA will certainly add to the mix --- Heck I'd say its all up to how they perform in finals and what the judges like -- but Im pulling for TROY to finally get the recognition they deserve!!!!
well i have to say... that i have no clue how this will go.... cuz i havent seen half of the groups going.... kinda like most ppl... but good luck to everyone... cant wait to see some awesome shows!
Grand Chamion- Eisenhower
1st Runner Up- Greece Athena
2nd Runner Up- South Jones
3rd Runner Up- Troy
4th Runner Up- Piqua
5th Runner Up- Homewood
Essentially Jorge's line-up, only I switched Piqua and Troy.
What captions are there, Jorge? The usual vocals and choreography? If there are, I'd have to say Eisenhower would get best vocals, but I don't know who would get best choreography.
