<2) claco in finals was a WHOLE different group. Prelims was good but finals was fantastic. I love the story of the little engine that could and it blew my mind when I figured it out! Their choreography was SO clean and I love Kevin Chase choreography. The lights really added to the show and I love the railroad crossing signs. It is so hard to beat Mitchell's choreography but personally I had you guy's getting best vocals over them. your vocals were so elegant and blasting and times it was just great. and you both had AWESOME bands. Congrats claco on a fantastic show. p.s I could NOT take my eyes off the red head in the front. He is SO much fun to watch.>

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the show!

I made the trek yesterday because I wanted to see Mitchell and classic connection and I'm going to be honest...

1) i love o'gorman and their vocals were amazing but the show was a tad bit boring. Watching Claco and FDC I wasn't ever bored. O'gorman just is too traditional for me. theres nothing wrong with that but I was surprised to hear they beat SFW in prelims. Very Surprised.

3) mitchell... I love you guys. Choreography was AMAZING. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Costumes were SOOOO OUTSTANDING I LOVE YOUR COSTUMES YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR. I think you guys were tired at the end of your show and I heard it in the vocals but up until your closer you killed vocals. There was a blonde girl in the front who SLAYED everything she did. again i don't know your name but kudos to you! Congrats on fricken AMAZING show.

Judges were
Mary Marion
Kyle Stugelmeyer
Melissa Eklund
Ben Eklund
Tyler Buglewicz
Cathy Britton

spell check?

O'gorman had best female soloist, Alyse Brown.
Not sure who was best male - it was hard to hear where I was at.

Classic connection also was people's choice.

In daytime, vermilion was in the category with Infinity and natural selection. They were second with Infinity third.

Daytime aaa was 1-Mitchell, 2-O'gorman, 3-classic connection.

Very tight run between O'gorman and Washington - 2 points in daytime and 3 points in finals. Great shows from all groups!

It'll be interesting to see how you all do after such a long break!

I'm sure they will be working hard to do well this weekend! Washington has made some big strides these past few years. Last time I saw their show it looked great!

Very excited to see all of these SD schools compete.

I've been wondering... Is SFW allowed to compete? With everything that's been going on and people saying that their season is over... can someone confirm they will be there?

We will be back to competing this week and I can't wait!!

This will be the first time I see a North Dakota show choir! Lets get it started up there too!
Yeah, I noticed that when I posted the schedule. Wahpeton is officially the first North Dakota show choir in our database. Although when I was briefly researching Wahpeton's information, it looked like there might be some basic show choir festivals already happening in North Dakota.
