Burroughs' show is a salute to Martha Graham, featuring African Khoisan click-languages, while Burbank's is based on HBO's Liberace biopic "Behind the Candelabra." Los Al is keeping mum about their show, but is rumored to be the untold story of Marcel Marceau.
Hmmm... Not sure if I believe that

Everyone out in California is just as excited to see the "polished" versions of these shows as everyone else is, but they just don't exist yet. I'm supportive of not spreading around videos or commenting on shows that are in their infant stages. Hart happens in 2 weeks, so just hold out a little bit longer and you're likely to get a little more info at that time.
Fair enough, but for my curiosity are they doing original story sets again?

So... is this gonna be like last year where nobody says anything about the sets? or can someone say the themes of each set?
California starts their competition season (and also ends it) way later than the Midwest... by the time Arcadia happened, there had already been 6 weeks of competition happening in other parts of the country. I know for sure that neither Burbank and Burroughs' sets were anywhere close to being finished (Powerhouse was missing two songs, for example), and Los Al hasn't even begun to compete yet.

Looking back on yesterday's competition, I felt like it was an amazing experience for everyone present. All of the groups were great (especially Powerhouse and In Sync... AMAZING!!) and I can't wait to see how the sets evolve throughout the season. This competition will definitely go down as one of my favorites, ever.

A few surprises though. I would have thought Hart would take first place in the Tier II division. Did Hartbreakers compete in both of the women's divisions though?
.

Actually, the results were read backwards for the Tier II Division. Hart took First, Glendora stayed at Second, and Diamond Bar was Third.

Hartbreakers competed in the Intermediate Division

Sweet, now I can stop refreshing this page and refresh YouTube until somebody posts a video of Burbank and Burroughs.

Bonita Vista did well competing in Tier I for the first time. Good for them, it's nice to see a new group competing against the usual four or five in Tier I, though it means Tier II's competition pool is even smaller now.

Oooh, Women's Tier I results are exciting! I bet Brea's girls groups going head-to-head again at Bonita Vista next week will be a bit of a friendly rivalry after tonight.

It should be pretty interesting to watch next week!

Tier II just finished up at Arcadia.

The host group Chanteurs is performing a few selections while the Judges are on a small break before Tier I.
