hey this is jay.  i want to say a few things.  personally momentum had the most AMAZING show we've ever done and if it can only get us 4th then ok w/e....

findlay should NOT have beaten Mt. Zion.  idk what the heck was with that i saw both groups and it should not have gone that way.  especially since MTZ won the actual choreo and vocal awards.  i just think the whole judging system is screwy.  the vocal category only gets 25%??? and the choreo gets only 25% as well??????? that is stupid that the effect categories get 50%.... and all the stupid rules for showstoppers... i felt like i couldnt step out of line at ALL.... i thought they shouldve given trophies to ALL the finalists....

shout out to mt zion.  they were the NICEST people.  they were so friendly and we got to talk to them.  the findlay people were nice too

no shout out to greece athena people.... stop complaining about getting third especially to mt zion and findlay.  p.s.  since none of our group did ANYTHING to you idk why you would talk crap about us.  WE WERE SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!!! we heard people say this: "why dont they just go back to iowa and eat corn"  i personally dont eat corn.  im going out to the irish democrat right now and im gonna get a nice juicy hamburger.  those types of comments are stupid and they provide a really bad reputation to their group.  probably like this post made me and my group look but i dont care because it was SOOOOO RUDE!!!!!

otherwise I LOVE NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! and jamba juice

I find that odd...since I was sitting near the group and heard no mention of them at all. I thought all the groups there were great. And a lot of people told Greece Athena that they deserved better than 3rd.

Fair usage rights have to be paid to the composer(s), lyricist(s), and publisher(s) of any material performed on television. Even the companies that produce competition DVDs should legally have the same clearance.

why didn't they let them perform?

I was told from someone in the group that they were going to sing "Singing In The Rain"... but CBS did not want to infringe on any copyrights. Also they weren't going to sing at all on the ABC thing the other day.

I was mad. I got up to watch a darn ball get caught by a little kid. lol I wanted to be serenaded!

Wow great job everyone! im part of a small show choir on long island, new york. we took an unofficial "field trip" to see you guys to get us pepped up for our competition next week in disney. aside from pics and things, ive never really seen a show choir of more than 30. it was absolutely overwhelming to see such high power, cololl and unity in groups with so many people. our director is always telling us about facial expression, diction...things like that...and how important they are. after watching you guys perform, its much much easier to see.

i must say that i was completely in awe of Mt. Zion. they were always together, had BRILLIANT expression and a great connection to the audience. that "letters from war" song was incredibly moving and i went right home and downloaded it. car wash was a lot of fun! sooooo props to you guys!!! i am now a very big fan!

congrats to ffe and all the other competitors. ;)

p.s. greece athena... biggg biggg kudos for dancing in vinyl

Someone told me they were gonna sing Blame it on the Weather Man to the weather guy. I was also told they were gonna do that yesterday on ABC, so it appears I was misinformed, lol.

Sadly, they didn't do ANYTHING... Just sat in the background during the weather reports while the guy went on and on about the other group there, a little league team (yawn)... Could have been great though - why didn't they let them perform?

oh I see...yea my group is doing that next month too " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I guess i'll stand there and look pretty.

Man... kinda bummed Mo didn't get 3rd, but the groups there had to have been awsome.

Congratz to MTZ and Findly... i guess that they came to a comprimise, findly GC MTZ Best Vocals... and someones streak had to come to an end, oh well.

But Its good to hear that Mo had a great show, they have an such an amzing year and as long as they can end it off with a great show... its all good!

Correct... and I posted that it's 7:00 AM... that's CENTRAL TIME. And it could be anywhere from 7-9 (CT). Just keep your eyes open. I don't know what song they are performing. Or if they are doing two.

I assume Car Wash... but I'm probably wrong.
