Wow everyone yesterday was phenomenal. Special S/O to Waconia on their win. I saw your set on youtube but it was NOTHING compared to seeing it live. The show concept, choreography, vocals, and everything left me on the edge of my seat. I AM A HUGE WACONIA FAN NOW.

So glad you liked the show! They are a very special group of kids

Amazing competition! What a fun day. Shout out to Holmen, I adore your show. I saw it on the live feed last weekend and im so happy i could see it live today. "I just want you to dance with me tonight" I volunteer! Such a fun show.

I also loved northern lights and oh my gosh... Best Female Soloist/Best Performer/soloist competition winner.... goodness! If a grand champion trophy could go to one person you would deserve it.

So excited to see some many great groups tomorrow! I have only seen a few of the open class groups so far this year so it should be great! Waconia wowed me early in the season at Muscatine and I am ready for more! Lots of great area schools I am looking forward to (Holmen, Logan, Totino, EC North, Chi Hi) as well! Good luck to all groups involved!

we have been working diligently to get a live stream however, it looks like we will NOT be able to get the go-ahead from the school district in time. Very sorry as we have such a wonderful venue (yes a REAL auditorium and stage - not a gym) and would LOVE to share it. Hopefully the "red tape" will be worked out for next year.....

So excited to come to this competition! This competition has so many memories for me and will always have a special place in my heart I'm also excited that I might get to see some alumni friends who go to college in Eau Claire! Should be an awesome weekend!

You are correct -- it is most often a "prep" group that wins Class A. But it is our hope that sometime there will be a "small" school who is competing Class A that will win that division and get to perform and compete in Finals --something they would not otherwise be able to do possibly if only the top scores were taken. Does that make sense? It does in my tired head.
We do consider changing this every year and will certainly look at it again next year.
