I understand how much pressure staff is under. I totally didn't mean to criticize them. They contribute so much to the community and I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you so much to the staff of SCC! I apologize for poking my head into this one. I suppose from the technical aspect, I should just stick to my little sector of the show choir world. Sorry again if I annoyed you Jeff! I know how much you have to keep up with and here I come , someone who didn't even go to this comp, asking to update results. Sorry again y'all

Jared, you didn't annoy me. My bad if my tone came off that way. You're more than welcome - and encouraged - to poke your head into all sectors of the show choir world. The intent of my post was just to explain to community members why we need all information in order to post results. And luckily, we were able to get the full information for this event.

Jared, we aren't ignoring this from a Staff/Crew perspective - there's incomplete information with this event. If you should know anything about me, you'd know I strive to be as thorough as possible. With my most recent post in this topic, I was asking the community for more complete results regarding Mooresville and Austin's placements.

What most folks don't understand with the SCC system is that we need full results in order to update the event. This is why you might see women's, prep, middle school, or small school divisions with "Placement Unknown" - the full results were simply never reported. It's great, for the discussion, when folks comment who the GC is, etc., but we can't update just one placement at a time. To be clear, if we were to just add GC-4RU up above on this event, the site would automatically update Mooresville and Austin to "No Placement" which then links back to their choir profile page where all of the ribbons are. That's obviously incorrect - Mooresville and Austin made finals here, we just don't know their placement in finals.

Trust me, we would like to update this event too - unfortunately our good friends in Indiana just aren't helping us out much. Laf Jeff also doesn't exactly have a strong social media presence like some competitions do. So it's tough. On one end, you have the folks who want this information updated (ex. probably the folks from Zionsville), but then we would also have the folks angry perhaps from Mooresville/Austin that incorrectly show that they didn't place at this contest. It's a no-win scenario in terms of how we handle it as Staff/Crew, so thus us holding out and waiting to hear full results.

This one obviously seems like a head-scratcher. I cannot fathom why 7 choirs would compete in finals and you only announce awards for 5. There's just a lack of information about this contest. Like did Austin just compete in exhibition as the small school champion meaning Mooresville was 5RU? Were there really just 7 choirs competing in finals? I don't know. But score sheets exist for a reason - the answer is out there! We just need some help from the community before we can add the results here.

After speaking with Laf Jeff's Director, it looks like Austin took 6RU and Mooresville took 5RU. Austin got into finals by being the Small Mixed Champion

I'll ask my former director when I go home if it's not up yet, but I won't be going home until late April.

When does Prizm Videos usually have the videos available for sale? I haven't been able to find any from this competition.

No announcement, they re announced Austin as small school camps... A bit odd
That really is so odd. Why would you invite 7 choirs to finals and only announce 5 final placements?

Anyways, even if it wasn't announced, could anyone clarify perhaps from the points sheet who was 5RU and 6RU between Mooresville and Austin? If we don't enter it, then it will just show up as "No Placement" which isn't obviously accurate.

That's pretty early, at least compared to how late I was expecting. Are we going to awards now, or is First Edition going on for exhibition?
First Edition just finished. Great show, tons of energy.

Do you know which one of Homewood's female soloists it was? Aidan Alford is the ballad soloist, and Amanda Disney is the main one.
