Rett is currently an assistant director and freelance choreographer based in Beavercreek, Ohio. He currently serves as the assistant director and choreographer for the Beavercreek Middle School Show Choir, "Entourage," and the Beavercreek High School Show Choir, "Friends". In 2018, Rett founded and directed the Wright State University Show Choir, "Surround Sound", which achieved the distinction of becoming the first-ever collegiate Show Choir grand champions of America at the Fairfield Crystal Classic in 2019.
Rett is a 2016 graduate of Beavercreek High School. Growing up in a military family, he lived in California, Ohio, Virginia, and Boston, where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He returned to Ohio to complete his junior and senior years of high school, where he was an active member of the award-winning "Friends" Show Choir at BHS.
In 2023, Rett graduated from Wright State University with a major in Music Education, Communications, and Deaf Studies. Outside of the Show Choir season, he is a professional wedding DJ and above all, loves teaching voice, guitar, and piano to his private students.
