Bonita Vista will unfortunately not be attending FAME Nationals this year. The funds we fundraised were just not sufficient to support two show choirs to go to Chicago. We really hate to miss this competition and we wish everyone who is going only the best of luck!

It's already been mentioned here and there, but quite a few choirs that qualified will not be attending the Finals. Probably most notably, zero representation from FAME Orlando #2. Despite that and contrary to earlier conversation about this new FAME format, the 2014 edition is not the least attended event in the history of FAME's Show Choir National Championship Series. The 2011 edition had fewer mixed groups and fewer single-gender groups. Although, there is a noticeable decrease in mixed groups and substantial decrease in women's groups compared to the 2013 edition.
There are also 11 different states and 2 countries represented in the 2014 FAME Finals. Just some perspective and numbers.
I think this is between Hastings, Twinsburg, and Mt. Zion. I think the edge goes to Twinsburg for Choreography and Hastings Vocally. Looking forward to a fun competition!

FAME will be doing the live drawing of the performance schedule tomorrow at 2 PM EST.
It can apparently be viewed via their main page (http://www.showchoirs.org) and I'm sure it will be posted on their website afterwards for folks that miss the live drawing.
Does anybody know when FAME will release a full schedule? In past years they've done that random draw and put it on YouTube, but if it happens again, when will that video be uploaded?

Just found out today (to go against my previous post), that Southwest will be attending. Parents were upset Resonance was unable to go due to financing so somehow managed to fundraise/finance the trip within a few days of bringing it up with each other.
