What are the daytime results?
OK - I don't mean to be rude, so please forgive me if it comess off that way. But this is one of my biggest pet peaves here on SCC, and since it is the first contest of the season I suppose it should be forgiven a little bit. But prelims aren't even over yet! There are no results as of yet. And I don't think it will be necessary to ask either. Clearly there are a number of people posting immediately following a couple groups already. I'm 99.99% sure that one (or all of them simultaneously) will post results when they happen. Same goes for later tonight after finals. Let's have some faith in our fellow fans there that they won't keep the big news a secret! Anyway - thanks in advance for whoever beats the rest with results first! It is very much appreciated...
I won't make an attempt to predict, being the first competition of the year for most (if not all?) groups I would feel pretty blind. I will however plug ATSC's ballad. I saw/heard it Thursday and it was beautiful. You should check it out!

So I'm going to leave my former group out of my predictions simply because I 1) don't want to be biased, and 2) it will knock one of the groups that most seem to think have a shot at finals out of the picture and make my predictions that much easier!
So as blindly as it can get:

1RU: GCS
2RU: Hastings
3RU: Linn Mar
4RU: Xavier
5RU: Johnston
Is happiness going with protege to cheer for them?
I know of at least 1 happiness member that is coming up with them. But I don't think the whole group is.
All I can say is it is going to be such a close competition. I have no idea how it will go. Just predictions.
