i feel like the best band caption could go to urby, prairie, or linnmar because each of the bands are stellar. prairies band doesnt do well in gyms for some reason so itll probably be between urby and linnmar (im hoping linnmar because they ar GOOD!)

ugh! my excitement level has grown tenfold after yesterday for this competition and its only 6 days away! such a deep field... im looking forward to watching urbys and linnmars show because i havent seen urbys and i saw linnmar at fab 5 once. cant wait.

At Benton last night, Xuberance beat Celebration, and from what I heard, almost beat Showtime. Also, Xub. beat ignition, who beat Focal point at Waukee. I think it's gonna be a battle in the top six prep.
Prep division at Benton was very close from 2-4. Xubes was 1 ranking point ahead of Cele and Showtime was 2 ranking points ahead of Xuberance. I'm not sure what the division would've looked like had they kept it points, but I do know one judge had much different rankings than the other 3 and that did effect the results. Everyone is going to have to bring it at this competition because it is so deep!

I keep getting more and more excited for this competition every week! It's gonna be a real fight to come out on top with all 6 of the varsity groups having a grand championship under their belt after this weekend. Even the prep division will be a hard fought battle! I can't wait!
Jordan I am gonna disagree with puttin prairie 5ru they have amazing vocals and I was very impressed with them at big dance! And I was very impressed with celebration at Linn mar!
Predictions:
GC: Urbandale (BV, BB)
1RU: Prairie
2RU: Linn Mar (BC)
3RU: ICW
4RU: Wash
5RU: Xavier
Could go a number of ways, Prairie could sneak a BV and I could see a ICW best choreo happen.
Any of the top four could take it. Not so sure about Washington or Xavier.

Prairie and Iowa City West could also take on Urbandale for GC because they're having a pretty solid season so far. Washington could also jump up in placements, and so could Xavier. CRAZY!!! Buttttt I guess we will just have to wait and see!
