3ru= Albertville "CenterStage!"
4ru= Eufaula "Vibe"

Vocals= Clinton "Attaché"
 Choreo= Clinton "Attaché"
Effect= Clinton "Attaché"
Band= Auburn "Varsity Singers"

EDIT: My original post was done on my phone and I didn't have time to put all of the group's names, so now that I am at my computer, I fixed it.

And speaking of the opener of Clinton's, The idea of mirrors was extremely good and very very well put together. Much congrats to Mrs. James on that outstanding choreo. It looks so fascinating from audience stand point and that mind thought to do that was great

I'm not sure April did that number. Working with Gates Crisler makes me believe it's his work. It just looks like his choreography style. But I'm sure they do collaborate for Clinton's shows.

To me one of the best show choirs there was Bradley Central Vocal Motion I was disappointed that they did not make the finals. Not to upset anyone but this is my finals standings just from what I saw

4th Eufaula Vibe
3rd Albertville CenterStage
2nd Auburn Varsity Singers
1st Clinton Attache
GC Homewood Network

But to me the best choir was Bradley Central Vocal Motion

I thought Bradley Central put on a fantastic show! I just want to congratulate the group on performing such a moving and interesting show! I cried during your ballad. It was a pleasure to watch each one of you perform so passionately! I was disappointed that I didn't get to see y'all in finals.

That being said, congrats to everyone in finals!

And I would be willing to bet Attache sweeps captions with the exception of Band but I still expect them to get that.

Albertville and Homewood are both great, but Ive seen both multiple times and Homewood will beat Albertville no doubt.
I think Clinton will win but im excited to see how close Homewood will come to them
In my opinion of all the groups ive seen this year Clinton has been the best, then Homewood close behind, then most likely Albertville though Enterprise would be close behind.

You have your facts extremely wrong. Clinton is not unbeatable. Actually, they have been beaten numerous times! .

Don't be ridiculous. If you look again, the only thing I said was a "fact" was the Homewood-Albertville head-to-head results for this season, which are indeed facts. Those outcomes are accurate.

AFTER that, I made the (I thought lighthearted and sarcastic) comment about Clinton. They haven't lost a Southern competition since most of us were in elementary or pre-school, so it seemed kind of warranted (and obviously sarcastic).

In fact, they lost multiple times in one season, 2008.

I know this, and definitely wasn't talking about previous years.

I was in attendance at FAME Chicago 2008, when John Burroughs "Powerhouse" beat Clinton with the best show choir performance I've ever witnessed in-person.

Regardless, none of the members of that 2008 Attaché group are even still in the choir, so that's pretty irrelevant anyway.

Albertville beat them that year at Petal! But Petal was still working off of the ranking system that year and Clinton was ranked as GC even though Albertville beat them in points.

If Attaché was given a Grand Championship trophy based on a scoring system that was known to be in-place before a competition was even held, then they beat all other groups who competed, regardless of scores. That's how it works.

Petal isn't the only competition to pull ranks from scores for finals, or even drop high or low scores.  Lots of competitions choose to do that. As long as directors know that in advance, I see no problem with it.

So before you go and exaggerate facts, make sure that people are stupid enough to believe you.

Yikes.

I'm still not exaggerating facts; I certainly wasn't trying to deceive anyone...just assumed everyone knew that Clinton hadn't actually scored 10,000 points more than everyone else. Guess that's my bad there.

That being said... I agree with you that Robert tends to be a little biased.

I still never said that.

Now call me naive, but I think you took Cody's post a little too personal. Remember, that's just one person's opinion...not an objective fact that Clinton is better than everyone else. Except Clinton is, ok I'm kidding. Anyways from a non-south point of view (as unbiased as I can be), I took that part of Cody's post as sarcastic. Obviously the internet is the worst place in the world for sarcasm, but still. It was an exaggeration that wasn't meant to be taken serious. Clinton is great, but of course they aren't unbeatable - everyone knows that. While that part of Cody's post was less serious, I wholeheartedly agree with everything else Cory said, after all, he spoke (mostly) objectively in accordance with results thus far this season.

So, just saying, if you would like Cody to respect your opinion, you should probably respect his opinion instead of basically saying that only stupid people would believe him. The golden rule, people, follow the golden rule! Also, this is my opinion. I feel as if I respected your post, so I hope you do the same.

// I can't wait to see the results for this competition! The South has been top-notch this year!

Clinton puts themselves out there and consistently competes against the top schools in the country...it's not like they lost to just any old show choir...it was Burroughs twice and a very respectable show choir in Hart. That's it since like 2002...that's impressive!

Oh, and not to mention, Clinton vs. the world:
Clinton: 10,000
World: 0

But they CAN put up a good fight to Homewood. It all depends on who goes out there and puts on a better show! Homewood and Albertville both have AMAZING shows this year(some of the best I've ever seen from the two groups). So this one will all come down to what group pours their hearts out on the stage and makes the judges love them! Good luck to all groups!

Please do not misunderstand me. Albertville "CenterStage!" is a phenomenal show choir, with an amazing show and wonderful performers. They may very well finish just as you've stated, which wouldn't hurt my feelings one bit. They deserve every award they receive.

Clinton will win Choreo because of their opener. That opener is the strongest part of there show. Vocally Clinton has everyone beat.

But your prediction said Albertville would win choreo...right?

But in my all honest predictions, these are off of what has happened this season.

So, based on what has happened to this point in the season, what exactly do you think points to Albertville not only beating Clinton and Homewood, but also beating Homewood AND Clinton out for multiple captions?

So far, Albertville and Homewood have competed against one other twice this season. The outcomes?

Homewood took two Grand Championships AND swept all captions at both contests.

Those results aren't my opinions. Those are facts.

Oh, and not to mention, Clinton vs. the world:
Clinton: 10,000
World: 0

I am not being biased, if I was, I would have Albertville in GC.

I never said you were being biased.  In fact, your Albertville association had nothing to do with it. Anyone (from any school) making that post would've gotten the same response from me.

But as it stands, Clinton Deserves GC, and Albertville and Homewood will be Close 1ru, but I think Albertville pulls it out because they want it more.

Just as you seemed offended at my statement, I'm guessing this probably rubbed alot of people the wrong way.

How did you decide that your former choir "wants it more" than Homewood? or Auburn? or Opelika?

Every choir wants it, or they wouldn't be here. Period.

Agreed on the costumes, Clinton deserves the caption for this, they are amazing and fit perfectly with the show

I'm not being biased, I'm going off of what the past few weeks have brought. Yes, Homewood has beat Albertville the past 2 times they have seen them. But Ganted, Albertville won Choreogrpahy at Twinsburg, and I believe that was unexpected, being it a northern competition. Their vocals won't beat Clinton, Clinton's show is amazing. And as it stands, I believe Albertville has stronger Choreography than Clinton. And I believe they want to Come as close to clinton as possible, Clinton will win Choreo because of their opener. That opener is the strongest part of there show. Vocally Clinton has everyone beat because of their opener and there Ballad. Granted 1ru and 2ru will be close, actually the top 3 will be close in my opinion, and I am not being biased. Homewood stands jsut as much of chance of winning choreo and 1ru. But if Albertville comes out strong in Prelims, and Turns it up more in Finals, they win choreo in my opinion. Homewood's strongest part of the show is there closer, It is so intense, but It can't also be there downfall. Idk what kinda practice any of the 3 groups have done to get ready for this weekend, But in my all honest predictions, these are off of what has happened this season. I am not being biased, if I was, I would have Albertville in GC. But as it stands, Clinton Deserves GC, and Albertville and Homewood will be Close 1ru, but I think Albertville pulls it out because they want it more. Those are my opinions and predictions. And I absolutely love Homewoods show. It is incredible. But Overall clinton has them both topped. Clinton has a spectacular show, though parts of it are rather, not interesting. The opener, ballad, closer are flat out amazing. The transition to the closer.....I want to marry the female soloist.... and the male, he is perfect, like he was last year. But still the opener is the strongest part. So my predictions stand

Don't mind him. He is a very optimistic alumni and while we all love his support, it can be a bit biased sometimes.

The only finals result I will predict is that Clinton wins best costumes. Or atleast they should. I know sometimes the judges will give it to a group that makes finals and doesn't win any other captions but I absolutely LOVE Clinton's costumes. More so than any other costumes I have ever seen on stage
