I can't wait for this competition! It will be nice to see how some of the local schools compare to one another like Xavier, Washington, and us at Prairie. I am definitely excited to see the predictions for this one as well as what the real results will turn out to be!
Hey I gotta agree I had an AMAZING time at Great River 07 I'm not sure what my favorite competition ever was.... Hmmmm maybe we should start another forum to discuss. :-P
Too bad that Cedar Rapids Jefferson isn't coming or it would be a competition version of Fab 5!

Stressful is an understatement. I still feel so sad for CR Prairie, receiving 4th, 6th, 6th in the day and NOT making finals because another group had 2nd, 7th, 9th.
It was actually 1st 7th and 9th. And they didn't even just not make finals, they got 8th place when every judge had them in finals... Freaking crazy.
Last one of those was Great River 07 and I gotta say that was a little too stressful for my liking lol

During the preliminary round, judges will score the areas indicated above. During the finals the vocal sheets will be scored by Michelle Jensen, Brett Carroll, Kym Chambers Otto, and Anita Cracauer. Visual sheets during the finals will be scored by Chad Alexander, Annette Layman, and Bengt Eklund. Bob Anderson will make a verbal critique of all finalists.
