don’t worry I’ve had to correct the President of the United States on the right way of saying my name. " border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

I have also...

How hard is 'Adam Peters'?

Nevermind... this IS Bush we are talking about.

Yet another amazing competition put on by Urbandale. This was as always smoothly run from start to finish.

I’d like to say thank you to our two hostesses who were AMAZING. Let’s just say that “Deans Happy Place” was P-E-R-F-E-C-T! We really loved how much time and effort you two put into it. We especially loved our VIP tags.

I’d just like to say that SE POLK you have an amazing show, and amazing ballad soloists.

Vitality- W.O.W – What they say is true, prep groups are becoming the new Varsity. You were awesome.

The FOOD – was…AMAZING. .

Overall this competition so far has to be my favorite. Thank you to everyone (especially the really nice parents) who put on this competition.

Mr. Temple…my name is pronounced Niiikola…lol. Like Ricola but with an N. " border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> don’t worry I’ve had to correct the President of the United States on the right way of saying my name. " border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

I would just like to say that I thought that every choir did very well. I think that the competition get better and better every year. Here are few of my comments:

Iowa City:
Love your show every year. Great Novality numbers. Great Closers. Ballad duet still gives me goosebumps.

Johnson:
Your songs are awesome! Love the guys number. Trumpet soloist WOW!!! Opening guy's song male soloist.. amazing.

Grand Island:
Very nice show for first year Eric, I think you need shorter dance breaks. I love the ballad, gorgeous!!

Ankeny
VERY CLEAN!!! I think that singing and dancing more would be nice. GREAT vocals!!

Overall It was a great competition. I think everyone did very well. It was great to see all the judges too and talk to them.

You forgot the Prep division Jordan. So here it is:
1. Ankeny
2. Johnston
3. CR Washington
4. Iowa City high
5. Grand Island High
6. SE Polk

Also, In class 3A Winterset and Spirit Lake are switched. Spirit Lake won and Winterset was 3rd. I'm pretty sure that's how it went. Maybe check on that just to make sure.

Alternately, if you see a guy on a laptop at awards or finals typing furiously on a laptop, that's probably me...

If you were on a laptop typing furiously, what else would you be typing on... a typewriter?

Just teasing you, buddy.

I'll say "ditto" to Mr. Temple's post. I'll be at Urbandale for nearly the whole day, and I'd love to meet some SCCitizens! I'll be with Johnston for much of the afternoon, but I will be in the audience for the HS Prep round in the morning, and hopefully for the evening finals (since I won't really get to see anyone during the day). Feel free to come to Johnston's homeroom and ask someone to point me (Jordan) out. Alternately, if you see a guy on a laptop at awards or finals typing furiously on a laptop, that's probably me...

Good luck to everyone today!
