The seniors in Chamber Singersd are happy, because they have kept up the undefeated legacy. Now it's next year's class' turn.

But Cosby's chamber was amazing. Your director looks sooo young!

Stand-still choir = choirs that don't dance lol. Chamber, Concert, and Jazz. Though there is a non-gender-specific chamber divsion and then a non-gender-specific jazz division. The competition is called the xhamber, concert, and jazz invitational, so I don't really know where the concert fits in.

Their website says March 31st and April 1st. I knew there was ANOTHER reason we weren't going...that's the beginning of our spring break. I know you don't honestly think my kids would be down with that.

haha. i would have done it had dale wanted to do a comp on spring break when i was there. haha. in a heartbeat. lol

Stand still choir = concert choir right? Just wanted to ask unless it was a new term for JV/Prep choir .

Either way it was a wash...we have to perform at All City Saturday. Thanks for the update about the correct dates!

Yeah, Hanover is leaving extra early, since Kecoughtan always seems to get caught in massive traffic (Norfolk is horrible traffic-wise with construction anyway), so we don't want to take any chances.

haha. i made it in less than 2 hours in traffic on a holiday weekend in my crappy truck so yeah. lol it's not that bad. going 75+. lol

That brings new meaning to "I Can't Drive 55" .

The drive sucks...we make it every weekend we compete in the Richmond area...so we're experts on that. Especially on a school bus that goes 55mph with the pedal to the metal. Woo woo. :-(

i'm kinda glad that dale isn't going, cause i don't feel like driving an hour and a half down to kecoughtan.

Hanover's Chamber is all-girls as well, and by choice. Hanover's satin dolls and voice male are competing in the jazz division i guess, even though voice male is an 8-member male rockapella group. Voice Male is going last, so everyone should come and check us out!
