Yeah I agree I think Wheaton will take GC but I think the 1RU-3RU will be a battle between Ankeny, Prairie, and Kennedy because I can see them being in any order, but also Lincoln SW could sneak in there, and I think the last spot will be a battle between Johnston, Totino Grace, and Sioux City East.
Possible that Johnston, Totino Grace, or Sioux City East could beat out Lincoln SW?
To everyone who has made predictions, I'm apart of Johnston Innovation and I was woundering what you thought is keeping us back? And what we can improve on?
I don't speak for anyone that has made predictions but I wouldn't say it is so much that something is keeping you back, just that there are so many really really good groups out there and coming to this competition.

I haven't seen Kennedy's full show though so I really have no clue how accurate this will be!

Plus I'm excited to see the other groups too of course including the prep groups as well because I believe the prep competition will be pretty fierce as well!
Prairie is on an "up year" this year in my opinion, so I'm excited to see how we stack up against groups like Kennedy and Wheaton, as well as the rematch between Prairie and Ankeny.
ugh! i will be competing at Northwest Missouri State this day! i went last year and was blown away by the local show choirs but this year will be more amazing! good luck to all competing!!!!
Hey Ethan. So I was thinking about the last time Sioux City East didn't make finals. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I want to say it was in 2005 at Linn-Mar.
Welcome to Show Choir Tonight with The Ethan Price.
Tonight we are focusing in on Urbandale High School's Show Choir Competition being held on February 9th.
Headlines from this upcoming competition:
1. If I'm not mistaken, all of the groups we expect to finish top 8 have this next weekend off. This could be a blessing or a curse. Who will handle the extra week for practice the best? The worst? We will soon find out.
2. Totino Grace and Sioux City East: What Will Happen? After two unexpected low finishes (for the Company of Singers standard we have come to know), will TG rebound and shock the nation at Urbandale? Sioux City East missed finals at a non-national competition for the first time since... well, I don't have that data, but it's been a while. In order to avoid extending that unwelcome streak, The Headliners will have to make massive changes before Urby.
3. Will Ethan and Christopher start a food fight in the cafeteria after avoiding each other for the afternoon session?
4. The Rematch: Prairie/Ankeny/Lincoln Southwest edition. Prairie shocked the show choir community with their Grand Championship over favored Ankeny and Lincoln Southwest at the Midwest Cup. Can they do it again?
5. Who are Wheaton Warrenville and Cedar Rapids Kennedy? Both groups are undefeated so far this year, which is what we have come to expect with these two. But I don't think we really know who they really are yet this season. I feel like Urbandale will be a "coming out" of sorts for both of these groups. And I cannot wait to see it happen.

These are going to be wrong. I mean, it feels wrong leaving Totino Grace on the outside looking in of any prediction. But these are just where I feel each group is at this moment in time. Of course that never actually ends up being where groups finish.
I cannot wait until this competition and I also cannot wait to see all of you fellow SCC folk.
