The biggest question: Who will get BC?

Haha, it's just a prediction! I feel like Naperville could either do extremely well, or not place: so I went out a limb with the former. Really the only thing that's making me think that they will do well is the fact that they've beaten Carmel and Sullivan. Both pretty big names from their states. They may place lower or higher than where I have them in my predictions, but we'll see I guess!

And thank you Julio for giving us an idea of what they're like!

Since nobody has been prediction for women's show choirs, I thought I would try. (These are my opinions only!!)

GC: Naperville North "High Heeled Harmony" (BV, BC, BB)
1RU: Clover Hill "Iridescence" (BB)
2RU: Loveland "Allure"
3RU: Bishop "Elegance"

Both Clover Hill and Naperville North have outstanding bands!! It will be close!

Finals Predictions in no order:
Loveland
Twinsburg
Clover Hill
Albertville
Naperville
ETC

Loveland and Twinsburg are very solid, while so is ETC. Clover Hill and Albertville are also awesome. Naperville is a newer group but ive heard that they are very good

-My opinions only ;)

I have seen Naperville North this year. They sing well, have a fun show, good choreography. It's not super clean choreo, which could hurt them in Ohio, where choreography tends to be an emphasis. Band is excellent. It will be a big fight between Naperville North and Clover Hill for band. Both are professional quality bands. I would say Naperville North would not be Top 10 in Iowa, so to me that makes them more of a "bubble" show choir for finals. This is SUCH a huge competition with groups from ALL OVER, so it's gonna be impossible to predict this one!

PREDICTIONS:

GC: Twinsburg (BC, BSD)
1RU: Loveland (BV)
2RU: Naperville
3RU: ETC
4RU: Clover Hill (BB)
5RU: Olentangy

For additional clarification, Olentangy is competing in Tier II and is only eligible for Tier II Finals, thus they won't be competing against Twinsburg, Loveland, etc. Tier I takes 6 finalists. Tier II also takes 6 finalists.

Now, I'm going out on a complete limb with Naperville considering they haven't competed since Valentine's Day. However, they've beaten several powerhouses in Iowa, such as Carmel, so I'm taking that into account as well. ETC, Olentangy, and Clover Hill are a little confusing and difficult to place, but I'm sticking with good old Big Cheeks for their BB streaks in the past. Twinsburg and Loveland will definitely be close! Can't wait to watch the feed!

Good luck to Clover Hill and Powhatan! REP VIRGINIA WELL!

FYI Carmel is from Indiana not Iowa

Also, the only groups from Iowa that Naperville has beaten are Linn-Mar (which Linn-Mar was ahead in the day round) and Dubuque Wahlert

(not a slam on either LM or Wahlert, just stating a fact)

Under Two weeks!!!

Looks like each of our large groups routinely make finals with 4 groups combining for 10 Grand Champion Wins. The Middle School competition is stiff as well with 5 of the 6 schools having won a Grand Champion trophy.

Predictions. . .

A FULL DAY of GREAT entertainment and FRIENDLY competition!!!

For those wondering, J' Gumbo's will be back with the Louisiana Rice Bowls. Bourbon Street Chicken for those wanting a sweet and tangy chicken dish. Voodoo Chicken for those craving a kick of spice. The award winning Bumblebee Stew is back as a vegetarian dish. This has twice won the Best Vegetarian Dish at Taste of Cincinnati.

Looking forward to a terrific day!

Don't forget, the night before, Straight No Chaser will be part of a Benefit Concert. See http://nuxhallmiracleleague.seatyourself.biz for tickets.

i think so, i'll ask the director!

Does anyone know if there are separate finals for small mixed and large mixed?
Y-E-S!

Yeah, Steven is right. The Crystal Classic has done this for the past 3 years. I think it's a really cool format and they have the excellent facilities so why not!

Awesome! Thank you.

I wouldn't count out Craig
I believe they have dropped.
It looks like it as Craig is on the Grand River schedule as well. Perhaps someone from Fairfield could clarify/post an updated schedule if there are changes?
