For those who were wondering, the judges for Crystal this year are...

Small Mixed/Middle School (PAC):
Alan Alder
Kylie Parks
Kevin Breazeale

Large Mixed/Single-Gender (Arena):
Jen Gulsvig
Linda McEachran
Eric Van Cleave
Mike Crandall

Also, Ryan Heinrich will be judging the solo competition during the day and then he will add on to the Arena panel in finals to judge large mixed!

Let me know if you have any questions!

Just some stats as of this past weekend:
Among the 23 competing mixed choirs in this year's Crystal Classic, 6 have already captured a combined total of 8 GC's (including 3 small mixed).
All groups have combined for 7 1RU (1 small), and 6 2RU.
Should be a competitive night.

There was some speculation that Burbank may return this year, but I personally didn't hear anything about Clinton or Burroughs.
I heard nothing of Burroughs, but there was a tentative verbal commitment made by Clinton after SCN last Spring. They later decided to compete at Wheaton-Warrenville instead, which I can understand.

Burbank was supposed to... I'm not really sure what happened

Just imagine if Burbank and Clinton weren't subtracted from this lineup

Doesn't make sense how Olentangy is in Small group, they are the same size as Grove City and have been around for the same amount of time, and the school population is the same. Me and my director talked about and are kind of confused on how they are competing in the samll division.
We talked about this a bit on the first page of this thread:

However in regard to the Crystal Classic, I believe that the directors choose the class size, not the contest director. I'm just basing this assumption off of the sign-up form where it appears that the director can select either Large Mixed or Small Mixed. So if the Keynotes are competing in the Small Mixed division, I would assume that it was their choice to do so. Although we all know they are good enough to compete with the show choirs that will be in the Large Mixed.
To me, it appears that Olentangy chose Festival/Small Mixed and when Grove City director signed up, he or she apparently chose Championship/Large Mixed. And yeah, I just quoted myself...

Okay, this is the first experience competing at Fairfield rather than watching it, but I'm SO much more excited for seeing my Oak Grove friends, especially after last weekend to see them all okay. SCA friends are the best! (HINT: GO TO SHOW CHOIR CAMPS OF AMERICA)

Small Mixed predictions:
I don't know how many finalists they take so I'll just do my top 4 because I'm not as familiar with a lot of these groups anyways.

GC: Olentangy (Vocals/Choreo/Combo)
1RU: Norwell
2RU: South Dearborn
3RU: Olentangy Orange

The Crystal Classic will be taking 6 small mixed groups to the small mixed finals and 6 large mixed groups to the large mixed finals.

Full schedule has been posted above. Middle school and small mixed schedule from here and women's and large mixed from here. There was one slight possible error that I wasn't sure about... Atlee is bringing two groups, "Illusion" is the mixed and "Elegance" is the women's. "Illusion" is listed as performing with women's, while "Elegance" is at the start of the mixed groups, so I'm assuming those groups might have got accidentally switched? I would assume it would be the other way around.

Other than that everything has been posted! Once the official list of judges are provided we can add that as well! In total, there will be 39 show choirs performing, including the host choirs, which makes this competition slightly larger than the Lincoln Southwest Showdown, Ben Davis Giant Spectacular, and DeKalb Show Choir Invitational which all had 36 total, so it should be another spectacular Crystal Classic!

That's what I've heard as well. But if memory serves me correct, they normally have about six judges. Or something around that.

Yea, that sounds about right!
