I'm definitely going to try to make it out to this competition! I love the Crystal Classic so much. I haven't missed one yet since I started doing show choir.

So there's a concert choir division this year as well?

Will the preliminary venues remain the same with small groups in the arena during the A.M. shows?

Take this with a grain of salt, but I believe Small Mixed will be in the PAC with the Middle Schools and Concert Choirs. The Women's groups will be in the Arena with the Large Mixed. Since Small Mixed is having their own finals this year, it makes sense for them to perform in the same location. Welcome to Fairfield!!!

It is NEW for the festival (small group) division this year. I do not believe Single Gender will be with the festival groups. I think this is great for the Festival groups that may feel they cannot compete with the larger groups. Looking forward to a fantastic day of great competition and Show Choir fellowship!!

That is definitely new for the crystal classic and should be interesting to see how that turns out. I really liked the way it's been run since 2006, with the large and small mixed in the arena and middle school and women's in the auditorium. Will the preliminary venues remain the same with small groups in the arena during the A.M. shows?

does anyone know how small mixed finals is gonna work??

I believe it will be just like a large group final. Small group will be going on in the Performing Arts Center while Large group is in the arena. It is going to be GREAT!

It's definitely a possibility considering their surprise sweep over DeKalb yesterday.

That is why I love Show Choir. You just never know what will happen one day to the next!

I agree with this prediction, but South Dearborn may sneak in there somewhere.

It's definitely a possibility considering their surprise sweep over DeKalb yesterday.

There looks to be a lot of depth in this competition. I am not sure I can predict who will make it into finals just yet. I am very excited for this competition though. With all the new additions to the competition this year, I am excited to see how people react?!
