Just a few words about the Poca event. It was one of the best run events I have ever been too. The backstage crew was great very organized and friendly. I thought the Civic center was going to have terrible sound, that was far from the truth. It was the best sound I have ever heard at a show choir event from the Mikes to the speakers. The lighting was great and the crowds were rocking. Great Job Poca we will be back!!!!!!!

As an alumni, I can say thank you so much for the kind words. You were a pleasure to see and can't wait to have you back in Charleston!!

You were just about spot-on with your predictions!

I would have been right if it weren't for those pesky Garfield Heights kids (scooby doo reference, anyone?).

But really. Predictions are just guesses on paper. Sure I have a lot of fun with them and I love being right (or almost right). But What matters is what all of you performers put on stage. And even I can tell by results that everyone gave it their all tonight. So a genuine congratulations to everyone who competed here!

Congratulations to Fairfield! Hurricane has become one of the show choirs I haven't seen, but really really want to. Good luck to everyone on the rest of the season!

I didn't see any of finals, but everyone did a great job during the day. Saw a lot of groups I hadn't seen live in a number of years. Looking forward to seeing the rest of Winfield's show, those kids did a commendable job given the limited preparation they had with the material.

The judges are:

Michelle Jensen (California)
Debbie Andis (Indiana)
Mike Crandall (Ohio)
Lynn Knoble (Ohio)-added in Finals

Kincaid

"Michelle Jensen, a former student of John Burroughs, founded Burbank's show choir in 1998 and retired in 2001. She was able to make a Grand Champion-winning show choir in just 2 years. Until last year, she was a judge at SoCal."

Wow! Michelle Jensen associated with JB "Powerhouse" and Burbank "In Sync". These are probably the best quality judges that have judged a WV competition or any competition at that. Very excited! Good Luck to all groups at Musicfest =)
