When you find out please post it!

I know that Marty DeMott is in fact one of the judges. I forget who the other ones were.

Northrop is an excellent group, but honestly I just can't see them upsetting Center Grove or Dekalb. Center Grove has an incredible sound, and is consistently one of the best groups in the state. Dekalb is also consistently one of the best groups in Indiana and they've been pretty beastly since this fall at Smont and Marysville. My money says it's a long time before they get comfortable enough to give another "run of the mill" show...

Of course, I could be completely wrong because Northrop is still an excellent group.

Best of Luck to Everyone on Saturday!

After today's practice, Northrop has the determination we needed. Here are my predictions:

GC: Northrop/Center Grove
2nd: Northrop/Center Grove
3rd: Dekalb
4th: Columbia City
5th: North Side

Vocals: Northrop
Choreography: Center Grove
Band: Northrop

... And Joe, don't say that.

I do believe that CG went to Southmont, I know it has been awhile, but they have been out.

I'm going with

GC: CG (BV)
1 RU: DeKalb (BC)
2 RU: Northrop
3 RU: CC
4 RU: ... (not sure, depends on which group is having a "strong" year)

DeKalb may pull it off. They are a group that normally starts the season off strong, but kind of plateau, where as CG really grows into their show, so that may come into play.

And yes it is a good thing to sing and dance, but show concept, and over-all performance value go a LONG way. If you ever notice groups that "perform" their shows tend to look and sound better, they may not always be, but your mind perceives them to be because you are enjoying their show and the performance they are putting on.

I really, really think that East Noble is going to bring it this weekend. After our atrocious showing at Southern Wells(the show itself wasn't terrible, but the results were), we worked our asses off and we did really well this past weekend at Lebanon. Now we have a taste of what we want and we're going to fight to get it.

I think that its going to go like this:

GC: Center Grove - enough said.
1RU: DeKalb - After Bluffton Street Fair, I can't imagine DeKalb being willing to let Northrop best them again. They're going to bring it.
2RU: Northrop - They're still very good...I just think that DeKalb will have it over them. We'll see.
3RU: North Side - I didn't get to see them this weekend, but it obviously went well for them at Lebanon. Now they're pumped from winning a competition and I think they're going to bring it as well.
4RU: East Noble - We're pumped this year. We're already at a better level than we ever got last year, and last year was a groundbreaking year for KR. As long as we maintain the group cohesiveness and with a bit of luck, we'll make it into finals.

Women's:
GC: Center Grove: The Debs always have a great show.
1RU: DeKalb: Ditto.
2RU: East Noble: Again, Premiere Edition is already better than they ever were last year and they are just as pumped as Knight Rhythms about Lebanon. They have a great show and they're motivated to succeed.

My predictions:

GC: Center Grove/Northrop
1RU: Center Grove/Northrop
2RU:DeKalb
3RU: Bishop Dwenger
4RU: Columbia City

Gonna be a close one.

Really Justin? After the results you guys have had the last two weeks? No offense, you know I love Charisma, but realistically I have to say:

GC: Dekalb
1ru: Center Grove
2ru: Northrop
3ru: Columbia City
4ru: Bishop Dwenger
5ru: ETC

Since this will be Center Grove's first time out, they might not be as prepared as Dekalb. Dwenger's been getting better every year, I wouldn't count them out of being well placed in finals.

GC: Dekalb (Best Choreo)
1st run: Center Grove
2nd run: Northrop (Best Vocals)
3rd run: Columbia City
4th run: Dwenger

I saw this right after I originally posted, I like the way you think Cody

things i have noticed past comps:
Your show could be super awesome and better then some but still be placed bad at the finals. lol i know when i watch groups im like wow----you have 50 dance breaks and only time u sing is when your not moving..holy crap u just got an awesome trophy.
Idk is it like a crime to sing and dance at the same time
Scores depend on if the judges like your show/ the music you play and so there fore my predictions are baset off what i have seen this year , your vocal and visuals..most off old socres we have had.
i love competing with dekalb one of my favorite groups, with center grove. We are always fighing for our spots. Now im going off what we have been getting on our old scores and combing them with are skill to step it up

GC: Dekalb (Best Choreo)
1st run: Center Grove
2nd run: Northrop (Best Vocals)
3rd run: Columbia City
4th run: Dwenger

All groups will tear up the stage im betting but some will burst into flames with their awesomeness Cant wait to see u guys there. GL :D
