Good luck to all groups this weekend!!!! I agree with most of the predictions, in the 4 groups that would make Finals, but when it comes to placement and caption awards, it's anyones game! As we Show Choir fanatics know, things change week to week. I don't necessarily have overall predictions, but I have to agree that the 4 Finalists will be:
(in no order..)
~ETC
~Teays Valley
~Piqua
~Olentangy
Like I said, GOOD LUCK to all groups throughout the day!!!
DON'T count Cabel Midland out. I realize that there are only 4 finalists, but my guess is they will be 4 of the 5 below: Cabel Midland
ETC
Piqua
Teays
Olentangy
Regardless...best of luck to everyone there on Saturday...I hope to drive down to see it!
hmmmmm...small comp. at least the earliest group won't have to perform for no one, which wouldn't be the case at other larger invites.

EDIT - after seeing some of these groups at Marysville yesterday, my thoughts on finals for Central Crossing have definitely changed.

2RU-Teays Valley/Olentangy
3RU-ETC
while i still pick the same four groups to advance to finals, i now have a much more informed idea on how placements might work out. i still have not seen Teays, but the other three performed at Marysville and i'm fairly certain that they'll place as listed. Piqua may have lost to Fairfield, but i'd still guess that they're headed for a very winning season with their one-of-a-kind show. Olentangy has improved immeasurably since last year and will no doubt surprise quite a few more established groups this season, possibly even the dark horse that is Teays Valley under new direction. as for ETC, while they're still a very entertaining group, a drop in numbers and male singer/dancers has hurt their vocals. and at Marysville it appeared as if they had just learned the choreography to their closer recently, so they didn't end with much "umph."
