hmm i think the grand is going to be between 3 groups

predictions:
GC:Twinsburg/beavercreek/medina
1 ru: twinsburg/beavercreek.medina
2 ru: twinsburg/beavercreek/medina
3 ru: Solon
4 ruoca
5 ru:Euclid

I've seen all these groups and to be honest the only ones i see getting a grand are out of those 3 I've seen solon,Poca and Euclid but they aren't up to par with the other 3 choirs. I agree that beavercreek has a rough start but after a couple compititions their choreography is very clean and vocals are very rich and strong. Twinsburg if they are having another 4 number show again they could take grand because they have less of a show to worry about and will be stronger in their vocals and choreography. Medina has great vocals and I see them getting bst vocals if they have a great show. None the less goodluck everyone! I might have to make a trip down and watch and judge it myself haha. should be a great compitition.

Hmmm ... something interesting to put out there.

I was reading through archived forum topics tonight and came across an interesting one from the 2005 season.

Brush Results 2005:

GC - Solon
1ru - Beavercreek
2ru - Euclid
3ru - Dekalb
4ru - Garfield Hts.
DQ'ed - Winfield

The results from that competition created an UPROAR in that forum, haha.

Well two years later: Solon, Beavercreek, and Euclid are back together at a competition. Crazy things could happen again, haha. That trio seemed to create a big upset when together, lol.

Personally, I am very excited about this competition. Can't wait to see how things turn out.

i will go ahead and try this one out see if im close.....

GC- Beavercreek
1- Medina
2- Twinsburg (I know everyone is going to moan but vocally I dont think they can do it this year)
3- Poca
4- Solon
5- Euclid

Best Vocals- Medina
Best Choreo- Twinsburg
Best Combo- Beavercreek (always has a great band)

Only thing that makes me think Beavercreek will not take it is because they normally have a rough start to the year and ramp up. At least they did last year, but its 2007 anything is possible.

some of the more widely-known groups attending Marysville's competition are as follows:

-Fairfield
-Piqua
-Solon
-ETC
-Northrop
-Poca
-Wheaton-Warrenville
-Lehman Catholic
-Olentangy

...and others. i'm sure it'll be a great way to kick off many groups' competitive season, and spectators from any and everywhere are much appreciated!

im sure that in a few weeks twinsburg, medina, and solon will have upped their shows 20X'S better than what they had at medina's festival (HA,, got it right ). and im sure poca is lookin to repeat so they will be working harder than ever, beavercreek always has a spectacular show, and euclid is gonna be awesome as usual also if not better than they usually are. it should be interesting to see how it will all come out.

Im just putting my predictions on last years season
Twinsburg and Beavercreek i feel are the strongest groups here and u can throw in Medina, but I feel that Twinsburg and Beavercreek will fight for the Grand

GC: Beavercreek/Twinsburg
1 ru: Twinsburg/beavercreek
2 ru:Medina
3: Poca
4 ru: Solon
5 ru: Euclid

Last year I remember Twinsburg being the stongest out of all the groups . . but Beavercreek did redeem themselves after every comp. they placed higher and higher and got better and better. I know Solon beat Beavercreek before and so did twinsburg so i say it might be out of those 3 but Poca never really got close to beating the other 3 groups . correct me if im wrong please i dont want to be giving false info but I have no idea about Euclid they could be very well the biggest suprise here but this is all last year for all I know Beavercreek could have gone down the tubes and twinsburg for all i know but yeah just last year
