Hey, I can't wait for this competition! I know we're trying really hard to do well at this comp. I do believe it has been at least 6 or more years since we have made finals at an out of state competition! I can't wait to see all the shows this year, it's always really nice to get out of this little land called OHIO and come see what else the show choir world has to offer LoL! Anybody in hear doing the solo competition? I am, just wondering if anyone else was!

I'm not mad, I just don't think it is wise to have someone like this representing your school. I thought your guys' show was GREAT last year and I can't wait to see your show this year!

sorry i left you out of my predictions, but as i wrote, they really were a blind guess. they were based largely on my impressions of recent shows and the choir's reputation. unfortunately, i've never had the opportunity to see Northrup or hear much about you, since my group competes mostly in Ohio. but who knows, maybe i'll finally get to see you this year!
To clear up some confusion, all fifteen mixed choirs will be competing for the five finalist positions. On top of that, we will also crown a small group champion of those that chose to enter that division. Basically a small group can go home with more than one trophy. That is the reason all the schools have mixed performance times. The judges do not know who is entered small group or who is large group. Every choir is judged based on their performance, not how they performed against others.
I'm confused...I thought there was a small school and large school category? If there is, how come there are groups from small school and large school mixed together? It seems like there are couple large schools, then a couple small schools, and back and forth. The small schools aren't competing for night show spots are they? If so why is there a small school category? We are a smaller school and we don't want to follow a large group...we're not ready for that. Plus wouldn't it be hard for the judges to flip back and forth, small and large?
