I am overwhelmingly excited for this competition. The quality (and number!) of choir attending is outstanding, and I'm looking forward to a day full of awesome show choir!

Prediction: This competition will end after 1am.

Usually, formats like this are on two stages. I find it very hard to believe that after HN performs at 6:45pm and I assume will last ~25 minutes, then awards have to last AT LEAST 20 minutes meaning 7:30pm they will be over. Girls finalist 1 then has to perform at 7:50pm, only 20 minutes later?!? This is assuming the rest of the day runs on time with 25-30 minute slots.

I agree. 25 minute time slots usually cause timing issues and don't really give any leeway in the schedule. 25 minute time slots, in my opinion, work better in finals. But to use them all day is just asking for problems. Huntington North is a large school and the amount of groups attending each year seems to be getting bigger. I could see two venues coming into play in the future. Pros and cons to all of it!
